ensekofti the thing with "view page info" in newgrouds doesn't work. it downloads a file "aq_jan728x90a.swf" which is about 23KB and ofcource doesnt work . . . . btw when i do this trick in youtube there are 2 "Embed" files any suggestions?? i love this trick! and i need it for a silly page....!! please!!

lbrtdy hey dude you know how you keep explaining where to download vids to edit in virtual dub or something liek that? well i foudn this awesome firefox plugin that allows you to download really fast and directly on page. its called downloadhelper, u can check it out, but when ever it detects a vid
lbrtdy it starts to get animated and onces you click on it, it prompts u to download to where as a .flv file. so its just like keepvid and whatever u keeep usuing but this one is a plugin for firefox. just thought u could add that to tutorial thx

Who knows, they might actually end up officially sponsoring it once they realize how much more helpful it is than the official Firefox help site. And it's not as if they would have a legitimate reason to stop you from doing this; you're just pointing out little-known features that either already exist in Firefox, or features that are made possible through add-ons available through the official Firefox add-on download site.

I've been wanting to take advantage of some of Firefox's cooler little customization options for a while now, but I honestly don't have the time or patience to sift through message boards and huge text documents when I might not even find something I'd use on a regular basis. This tutorial is like 90% stuff I'd use everyday, and a lot of stuff that makes Firefox even more efficient than it already is, and all explained in under 20 minutes. Great work.

andwerver You don't need to create a quicksearch for definitions, if you type "define cheese" in the firefox address bar it wil automatically do a google search for that. No need to do all that other crap you suggested

ensekofti the thing with "view page info" in newgrouds doesn't work. it downloads a file "aq_jan728x90a.swf" which is about 23KB and ofcource doesnt work . . . . btw when i do this trick in youtube there are 2 "Embed" files any suggestions?? i love this trick! and i need it for a silly page....!! please!!

lbrtdy hey dude you know how you keep explaining where to download vids to edit in virtual dub or something liek that? well i foudn this awesome firefox plugin that allows you to download really fast and directly on page. its called downloadhelper, u can check it out, but when ever it detects a vid
lbrtdy it starts to get animated and onces you click on it, it prompts u to download to where as a .flv file. so its just like keepvid and whatever u keeep usuing but this one is a plugin for firefox. just thought u could add that to tutorial thx

Who knows, they might actually end up officially sponsoring it once they realize how much more helpful it is than the official Firefox help site. And it's not as if they would have a legitimate reason to stop you from doing this; you're just pointing out little-known features that either already exist in Firefox, or features that are made possible through add-ons available through the official Firefox add-on download site.
MessiahOfTheDDT Wow, I'm really impressed. I've been wanting to take advantage of some of Firefox's cooler little customization options for a while now, but I honestly don't have the time or patience to sift through message boards and huge text documents when I might not even find something I'd use on a regular basis. This tutorial is like 90% stuff I'd use everyday, and a lot of stuff that makes Firefox even more efficient than it already is, and all explained in under 20 minutes. Great work.
