| Video Description http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ If you have trouble with mp4/divx try mpeg /mp1v It's illegal for you to rip a DVD that has CSS (a type of DRM). It's even worse (in terms of punishment) if you redistribute copyright material. See your country's / states copyright laws and all documentation regarding the media you want to copy if you want to be safe. Don't copy stuff you don't own or you rented. Note that if you have vlc player set so it loops, it will infinitely rip the same dvd to the same file. You can stop it from looping by clicking one of the buttons in the playlist. If you want to watch the dvd after it's finished ripping on vlc player make sure you uncheck the stream / save box or it'll overwrite the rip and start ripping again. |
Comments:
H2Glitch2007: its been awhile since i've seen a new jimmy vid. i was beginning to worry.Cody2Xtreme: Where do you learn this stuff?
great1138: great job on another cool informative video.
tysonxguitar: thats awesome, is it easy to put the file saved onto another blank dvd?
wanderbang5: Thanks for another awesome video. I'll have to try this out.
One note however: Is it possible that the "1:57:23" given as a time was actually the length of the movie rather than the estimated time until completion? This would mean that the number increasing on the left would be the minutes of the movie that had already been processed.
jimmyrcom: Yeah the seconds were going way faster than actual seconds. That's why I kinda laughed when I said the time left. It would have been accurate if vlc displayed it by frames. I was just saying it has "this much left to go".
locologan187: Damn, I'm glad you made this video. I use VLC all the time as my media player. I had no idea that it ripped DVDs as well!! thanks!
pimpsahoy1594: meh...i just got magic dvd ripper from the pirate bay and im satisfied :)
UnsounderGnome: wow thanks. I had been looking for a good way to rip dvds. VLC proves it's usefulness yet again. good video.
EvanVolm: So if I select the wmv codec, I can play it with Windows Media Player right?
jimmyrcom: Here's how I *think* it's set
mpeg = Mpxv
mov = h26x
avi/mp4 = DIV
wmv/asf = WMVx
raw = none, frames saved uncompressed
I thought asf was only for streaming though.
dovad16: Excellent. Most helpful. Thanks.
beatrix202: If I could only select a few users to keep on youtube, you would be one of them. These vids are actually useful in the long term. Thanks for the help /subscribe
ReedJaguar: i didn't know vlc could do that, but dvddecrypter is really good and is faster than vlc..
jimmyrcom: faster because it just copies the vob files or makes an iso (after decrypting protection). VLC transcodes them into common filetypes.
sullnie: If i were gay...i would want to have sex with you.
lol
0saltandpepper0: you don't need to thank us for listening! you're the one doing the hardwork! Thankyou!
jimmyrcom: it'll be deleted for copyright lol. you'd have to process it so it's a lot smaller size
k1rpa1: Never knew vlc could do that, awesome!
TheStoicAgnostic: this is cool as always
i tell everybody about these videos
i'd much rather see that tv thing though
haha
laharlff7ac: That's a nice feature for VLC Player. I never new it had something like that. Thank you for the upload.
H2Glitch2007: i cant watch the new video he just uploaded
mightywibble: i used vlc for years.....its by far 1 of the best media players out atm
HeadDominion: hey what if i don't want to rip the WHOLE dvd, but only a specific section???
thanks this is Sooooo awesome. i posted this question like a month ago and it finally came up l0l
jimmyrcom: use dvd decrypter and make an iso. magic iso can make compressed cd image formats but doubt that will make it much smaller. it will be huge
zodezambo: cool work jimmy. your amazing in tutorials. keep up the good work!
DarkMod00132: When I downloaded VLC, it was only because Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player, and RealPlayer didn't play all the file types I wanted to watch o.o Now I know that it not only plays all the files, it also streams AND rips XD Thanks a bunch for all the useful info ^^ My comp doesn't have a built in dvd ripper(which is a pain DX), so this is VERY helpful ^^
DarkMod00132: Dangit, I'm having issues making it work XP It's either because of the obvious reason, that my comp doesn't have a dvd ripper, or I'm just doing something wrong XP I'll keep trying, though
lynchdj: you are the best! I had requested this video
wongsmokesbong: lol, the quality of the encoding of dvds aren't that high quality (i think it can only do a one pass encode, instead of a two pass) but yea you could do it.
jerommeke69: Thanks you very much, Jimmy!
I'm going to check this out, looks very handy and awesome!
pongman: Hey did you find a Dutch language course? lol
rcps: omg you rule. thanks for the tips
dang3rz0n3: Thanks once again Jimmy. You have no idea how much this helped. =)
Spookbros: Thanks, this realy helped me alot.
And i "wasted" around 5min of my life trying to see what it was on the picture at 1:34... I'm dissepointed :P
"Rip DVDs VLC
Time : 03:08
Level : Easy"
gabrielm562: Thanks, all one really needs for media stuff is VLC player. Great program. And great info, thanks Jimmy
marjamada: Excellent, thank you. I had some problems. I ripped a small 15-min DVD while following along on your tutorial, making all of the same selections: MP4, 1024, mp3 audio 128, etc. It saved a file w/o extension in my selected folder, not on the desktop. I added .mp4 and VLC could then play it, but audio only. WinMedia Player didn't recognize the file. What did I do wrong?
jimmyrcom: mm worked for me. You can try saving as an mpeg if it didn't work with mp4.
marjamada: Okay, I finally got VLC to play the mpeg file, though a bit pixilated. However, I want to edit the video in MovieMaker, and after six different formats, it still refuses. Is there not a 'correct' combination of encapsulation, codec and extension?
EMDGABE: this guy has great tutorials. nobody better than jimmyr in youtube.
Cjaiceman: Thanks Jimmy for the cool vid. Keep them up.
thismyaddress: kool thats awsome
i love the start
and the end of your videos :-)
aussie114: when ever I do this is just rips the audio, were did I go wrong?
aussie114: oh NVM im just a noob, when you save it, YOU MUST physically type the file extension
Joneecoca: Make sure you fufill the video options not only audio.
zmoney116: this is awesome but i use another dvd ripper.not only does it rip da dvd it shrinks it also n i can edit what i want (ie juss da movie or have certain features)
Famf9983: I like using Handbrake to rip DVDs. It's really simple and works great. One big difference is that it lists how long the titles are so it's easy to find which one is actually the movie.
flyingace15: jimmy is amazing, thats all i have to say
flyingace15: hey jimmy, wheres the looping button, i can find it
remythehomeboi: y odes that ad pop up in your video
Ghakimx: my dvd drive isnt working, oh well.
cityofsp: Thanks a million for your time!
magnoliasouth: Finally! I've wanted to rip my DVD's to back them up for ages and I didn't know how to do it. I've read tutorial after tutorial and I only become more and more confused. By far this is my favorite tutorials of all of yours! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
biantai888: This is another really good tutorial. You are on a roll!
noimus13: WTF i have the same exact settings as you but it aint as that clear as yours/ How come Jimmy?
linkthelunn: you should do...like a short tutorial or something on flash if u havnt already done that
kidvts217: Video tutorial was great, but you forgot to mention that the first time that you use this program, it does not (by default) insert the file location on your computer as to where to find the file once it has been ripped. And, Microsoft Vista did not help much either. After I watch the video a few times and realized that once you selected the browse menu, your file destination was already filled in. Thanks any way... This is a life saver.
thismyaddress: thanks man ur awsome

Arz00: Thanks, didn't know that one :)
Def0098: when i did this it rip everthing for the movie images. When i click on the file all i get is the sound from the movie.
rockinroy555: dint know that - been using DVDFab which is nice but maybe not as versatile.
KenshiX1337: Lol Jimmy what the hell is that blinking thing it was black.
CKyzOnLy: lol. i figured that out a while ago, but good video its not that easy to figure it out
BTMandy1: jimmy i need help when i look at the file its an incredibly small size please help me
cya
gasser5001: props man! ive been lookin for a dvd ripper for some time now :)
paingain100: I assume you can rip music soundtrax from dvds as well?
SQaudiophile: For some reason only mpeg1/mp1v worked for me. The quality is so so.
Eletriz: awesome dude vlc i dont need my other dvd ripping software now ;)
RaymondCroxen: Thank You Sooooooooooooooo Much!!!!!!
kingkirby7714: oh wow, i've used VLC for a long time and have been trying to find a way to rip dvds too. now i feel kind of stupid...but thanks a load ^_^
wwwhth: how you remove vocal completely from mp3?
but don't get it?
morningsweet666: THANKYOU!
I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH!
CrimsonKnight200: That's great! Haven't Rip a DVD yet but I think it might come in handy if everything else fails.
richygoku16: that is sick. thanks again jimmy
thenameless191993: Wow thank a lot jimmy how do you find out about this stuff??? :)
KennellKevin: ... wow, nice Tutorial - VLC is just the most powerfull Multimediaplayer.
westymon: thanks dude this is so good !! 5/5 stars thanks so much
utubesucks2003: Hey, I'm a noob at this so let me just ask--Whats the actual video quality like when it's ripped, and if I want to convert it to divx does it lose some quality?
Lazreal: nice tutorial, i didn't know vlc did all tht, but its one of the best players out there. i've been using alshow recently try it out see if you find something usful with Alshow make another vid, I'll whatch
Longhorndude08: Thanks alot! I've been using Xilisoft DVD to iPod converter and it splits the file up, which i hate so much!
midlobballmvp2: for some reason it's not working for me. when i try watch the movie while ripping it, it doesn't show and its a black screen. and when it fully finishes it says there's an error and i can't play it..any help?
yokonater: Yeah if this doesnt work, take yourdvd and freeze it, then microwave it for 4 minutes or so. Works best with rental movies.
yokonater: Thank u so much Ive been trying with other programs but there are 2 problems:
1. either it is not a free program or 2. Im to dumb to figure it out
rkapp007: Does this really work or sarcasm?
yokonater: this realy works but not always with ur own movies
midlobballmvp2: new problem the movie won't load into itunes and i have no idea what to choose for it to go on my ipod
tubeematic: For video codec select mp4v.
Also you can make the bitrate 512 and it will be much smaller bu still great quality.
midlobballmvp2: okay for the encapsulation method, if it's a dvd should i choose mp4 or mpeg
dieazy666: my first comment ever....for ****JIMMYR**** Your a legened....and i would love to chat some time....but probley wont happen...i just like ya and you sem really cool. have you got a msn coz ill drop ya a line some time
dieazy666: ur a dude, don worrie flla if not ill understand.....i just relised how fcuked that sounded Latters...
leodime: Wow. I have no words to describe... Where do you learn this stuff Jimmy? do you just study them until you find stuff like this or do you read about it somewhere? Well, keep it up. You just got a new subscriber!
maxmydog25: i want to use to take a clip to show to my class. I want to edit it with window movie manker 1 to take the clip out that i need but it seads its not compadable.
travisbickkle: I don't see what the point of this is. Why not just rip with dvd decrypt\shrink and burn? So much quicker. I guess if you want to store average quality copies on your computer for backup and don't want to use 4.35gb per flick?
pforvendetta: I don't know about shrink and burn, but I used to use dvd decrypter and autogk, and that usually takes 6 hours for a 2 hour movie. This method, on the other hand, is much faster and easier for me. But that's just my case.
numbah1pinoy: Holy shit that was gonna take a long ass time!
That is really inefficent. ShrinkDVD works ALOT faster and even lets you compress the riped DVD files.
leodime: lol. It's odd how you have the little 4-stars thing on the intro of the video and the REAL rating is 4-stars as well. I'm ripping Evan Almighty right now. I had to run the DVD through Windows Media Player to find where the real title was. I had to scroll all the way up to title 8 before I struck gold!
ujesse1103: it doesnt wanna work it doesnt save as a video file it save just the audio
ZuneZapper: Thanks Dude! You're a lifesaver! Now I Can Put DVDs on my Video iPod because i have 26gigs/30gigs free on the thing and i dont know what to do with it! Not 5/5 more like 100/5!
ujesse1103: anyone that can help please answer idk y but when it finishes it onle rips the audio and no video ? :( please help anyone
cookiemaen: I too get only audio, i of course tested whit different players, if that would be the problem. but nope.
warrioramin: i think you have to choose anything other than MP3 in the audio codecs, i am not sure though.
ujesse1103: Noone ANSWERS please help y does it only rip the audio
leodime: The video is there, it just doesn't show up cause of the player you're using. Try putting the video on an iPod or something and you'll see.
PrestonJacobs: How do you put it onto itunes? Please answer!
leodime: Erm... try using the formal Windows File Manager method and going into the iPod system directory manually and inserting the MP4 as if you would with a flash drive. Or right-click and choose "Open With..." and select iTunes from the program list or something.
btrflyzrfree2: HOW-TO stuff usually reads like stereo instructions-or even worse legalese (ugh!)JIMMYRCOM (hereafter known as....THE MAIN MAN -aka-KING COMPUTER TUT(tutorials)fortwith and in proper standing does hereby ROCK in relation to newbie users(hereafter known as me-myself-and I)

contraelgobierno: funniest part..dvds have commercials and other stupid stuff.
alvinsmithlover: all i got was the audio? can you help plz. can you put a vid on how to get the picture if you have only the audio
PainedSpaceCowboy: Same here. I only got the audio.
any help?
XFLOST: nice. I always wondered how to do this with dvds I bought.
XFLOST: also, its not illegal to do this with dvds you own, right? I mean, I'm not going to re-distribute it
jimmyrcom: right. Personal use. If you have enough disk space it's more efficient too as you don't have to have a cd spinning for 2 hours each time you watch a movie. Scratched or lost cds aren't a problem.
emip666: waw all this time i didn't know
linckbur: i am having problesm with playing my dvds The sound in the background (like the background music etc) is a whole lot louder than the voices speaking, and you can't watch the movie properly. I can't find anything in windows media player to change the settings and I've tried several dvds none which have worked, including the one I watched yesterday. Other players also do the same.
Can anyone help?
PainedSpaceCowboy: I only got sound.
anybody???
BulletCSS: You need download k-lite codec pack.
easterbunnyking: nice bro im ripping dvds as we speak.you're a big help. im gonna tell veryone abot you. nice job
MessiahUK: That was really interesting and probably useful to a lot of people, how about showing us how to rip Blu Ray discs? I hear AnyDVD HD is good. I normally rip a DVD to my hard disk then encode using DIVX Encoder but I'll give this a go and see how it goes.
lerrylie: Thanks for your help.. Hope that it will work.. :)
GRASSHOPPERandBEAR: Thx a lot man. I got it going. iv been useing VLC just to watch vids. i had no idea i could Rip Dvds with it.
Thx again =)
GRASSHOPPERandBEAR: ...humm i only got sound..guess ill..try again..
rocklee4612: Hi.. will this work with virtual drives?
Sylvarear13: this is a dumb Q but where do i find VLC player?
rikj0nter: hey hey watch all his videos and u will be sorry
Dallouez: Google "VLC" it'll take you to the web site.
easterbunnyking: what codecs do i need i only get audio
flyingace15: do you know a format for itunes and 5th generation ipod?

lbrtdy: how come i only get audio and no video? i tried other players but still the same thing? any ideas?
PureGfx529: Hey Jimmy this is a Brillant Video.. This help me out alot.. bettter then dvd shrink
Ghakimx: VLC closes everytime i try to run the DVD. The DVD is authentic and i even played it on a DVD player but i cant seem to watch it on my PC. Any ideas?
jnbjabnk: I can't open MP 4 file plz help
jimmyrcom: dude you have vlc player....sd;lgfks;jdf
jimmyrcom: Try again with mp1v and set the contained to mpeg
Nizmir: How do you even play .avi movies???
lbrtdy: how come i only get audio and no video? i tried other players but still the same thing? any ideas?
sputnik410: I'm just trying for the first time and saw that it said (under title, subtitle, etc) audio: -1. I thought I'd change that to 0 just to see what happens so maybe that's your problem?
lbrtdy: I got a question, when you try to encode the videos in a certain codec, does VLC media player already provide the codecs or do you have to download it separately? thanks!
azusaka110: love the videos, and that was absolutely amazing, lol
hkycrazy: how do u make your own channel so u can host a movie or show on vlc please help
cargodudeMT: u can actually import a dvd into WMM, it just takes a really long time, like 45 mins. And after u import, u can save it as a video onto ur hard drive or w/e.
air34: I got great video quality when i ripped it i followed your directions but i get no sound. and if i keep the file on my pc it does not let me open itunes so i cant put it on my ipod
killpoo1111111111111: when i did this all i got was the sound and no video help
lordvaladak: MP4 is Audio I think dave it as WMP
xOMADONx: ugggg wont work for me
plz help!
baddassmutha: Hi. I only appear to get audio after the ripping conversion has finished, but 'no video'! Im ripping exactly as the video shows, with the same settings, mp4 using div3 and mp3 for audio. Am i missing a step? do i need a particular codec? am i being dumb? Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!
rrums: I had the exact same thing happen.
rrums: hm.. this was meant as a reply to baddassmutha 4 comments below.
tutorialsmaster: didnt work???? i use magic dvd ripper
kdmq: it doesn't work my vlc can't open dvdrip.mp4
kdmq: i want a reply to my previous comment saying how to deal with this problem
boriquachulo05: How can i custom ripping certain chapters of a dvd?Example title1 chapters 39 and etc?
soniaruiz20: can u do a vid like this but for psp?
Greyfox404: as long as its MP4 it can work on psp and ipod's
thepivotguy12: lol they use this at my school xD
SUPREMEdonuan: Ok, this proves it. Jimmy is my #1 source for getting stuff done. If he hasn't made a video about it yet, I go to open source. If they ain't got it, I keep looking! I wish I saw this video yesterday, I could have save myself at least 5 hours of running around!
ccinnervisions: This is going to be saving my dvd as a huge file. I am ripping a music video dvd, so the chapters will be like 3-5 minutes a piece. How do I go about cutting this dvd into smaller sections
killervacuum: Very good! Other tutorials make higher customization/compression, but involve several programs and a lot of options.
aceflush100: top site 5* video's, okay now i've followed your video and done as you have only i have the sound but no video could you please advice me to correct this 6 times and still no luck please help.
wirpo032: Good made, but does this work on copyright protected vids?
Plz reply.
20AJ06: Yeah im having the problem where just the sound plays and theirs no video a lil information on what to do to correct this please ? =) thanks man
klp335: hey great video but are their other way to rip dvds ???
klp335: hey great video but are their other way to rip dvds ???
oswold: I've ripped a DVD to mp4 format to play on my Sony NWZ-818 Walkman. The actual video has worked fine, but theres no sound! I set the audio codec to mp3 at a 128 bitrate with 2 channels (I presume this makes it stereo sound), which are the settings I think my device uses (its a MP3 player after all), but no sound. The mp4 file will play back through VLC, just not on my Walkman. Any suggestions anyone?
booksofbokonon: Thanks for the tutorial. Several comments on here found the problem of playing ONLY audio/no video for mp4/divx. Why is that?
ddsalo: Great stuff! I really enjoyed your tutorial nice and easy! Thanks a lot for sharing! Keep up the good work!
iFinza: Sweet tutorial but a "frame" / subliminal message slipped in lol saying
Rip Dvds Vlc
Time: 308
Level:easy
at 1.34
luv ur tuts
Vaffeljern2: Thank you very much. I've been searching for this for 3 months:D
Vaffeljern2: Does this work if I want to put a dvd onto an iPod?
Vaffeljern2: Its not illegal if you rip it only for your own use
DeathIsYou: I think they are :P Me for one.
FatalNova: Great tutorial! You've taught me a lot today ;)
harkin1986: Another great video, very helpful. Thank you
SkoollZ: kool, thanx dude, i've been trying to figure that out for ages... =0S
disorder8: My computer doesn't have a stereo option in the volume option for recording, what should I do? I prob have to buy a new one right because my comp is about three years old. Its a presario r3000 2gigs, pent4, 3.0 ghz, 1.87 gigs of ram? Id there a way around my prob???
badcoupon: got some of my favorite Aqua Teen episodes on my iPod now. Thank you dude!
snacker247: Thank you,i needed this, i found a dvd ripper and it ripped half the movie in french
keoja: Thank you very much for posting this. It has been very helpful.
SlaynWylde: You're a lot more helpful than all the other morons on you tube. Thanks for that helpful information. You just saved us all the trouble of killing everyone, I bet shareware authors must hate you now. And VLC must love you for just boosting its d/l rate. I have VLC anyways for my AVIs lol.
SlaynWylde: I'm having problems locating the movie files when opening disc i've clicked through 5 titles and nothing I just keep getting errors. Help please?
TheWakieKid: Great information, easy to follow instructions.
I did have trouble at first, but went to preferences and selected video general. Works smoothly now.
Thank you very much.
"Lang may yer lum reek"
notme1713: really intresting.....good video! i'm his fan!
levelinc: Cool, ty for the good explaining but if I make the menu on a dvdrip, will it work?
oswold: V.helpful vid, ripped most of my DVDs to mp4 so I can watch them on my Walkman. Only problem I've had is that certain ripped DVDs in mp4 (e.g. spider-man 3) wont play back the audio. Ive set the codec to mp4a, same as i've always done, but no sound on either VLC or Walkman. Another thing thats odd is that if I rip on of the adverts from SM3, the audio plays back fine. Do certain films have audio protection in place?
abrandy: i get the exact same problem :( really annoying
oswold: After some research on VLC forums, some films have a weird codec called AMR (adaptive muti-rate compression) which due to licencing issues, VLC doesnt support. Still odd that the adverts dont have the codec in place, while the main film has it (thought they would have put it on everything on the disc).
abrandy: i've found a way around this actually :] it's kinda long winded but it works.
first rip the dvd with VLC set as an AVI with:
Encapsulation Method: MPEG TS
Video Codec: mpv1
Bitrate: 3072
Scale: 1
Audio Codec: mp3
Bitrate: 128
then that should technically play fine. then use media coder to transcode the video. Once it's transcoded it should convert to mp4.
igowyld: What do you mean by "the first thing I'm going to do is see where the movie is"? What are you actually doing to find out if there are commercials in it?
PyroDude94: Awesome man, helped me out. 5/5 stars :)
emil2394: hey is it not possible to save it as an avi?
tomodgers: thanks so much helped me out loads 200%
BigJewOnFIre: Oh how cool. However, what do i do when error "Error -2401: an invalid sample description was found in the movie (DVDRIP.mp4)"?
SGtotehmax: Wow It Really works! Thanks! 10/10
Downedgull: omg i randomly came on this from another of your videos and ive been looking for a dvd ripper and all ive had is softwares with trials so thank you for this 5 star
Dogboy2709: how can you tell if a DVD has CSS?
supadupadennis: i ripped it once and it was only audio. then i ripped again and it was only video.
i dont think im doing something wrong, so ...whats up?
TurtleVVisperer: I tried this and got the audio recorded but no video showed up. I used the same settings as in this video. Anyone have tips?
SenatorMcCain: Its possible you don't have the appropriate codec.
darkdisaster202: i cant seem to find the file any help?
deathofarocker: wow big help! Thanks! i couldn't rip "I am legend" to my ipod and it was making me mad!
this is free and simple... WOOT!
PussyFiend: nice man ...really needed something like this
peder95: what ive been looking for a free dvd ripper for so long and then you can just use VLC ive allready got that program for 1 year!!!??
KeenXu: i am legend was a horrible movie
very informative video though
VizardSasuke: thanks =] tekkonkinkreet, ff7, everything I had ripped just perfectly for me.
cosmoboy7: please help mines only come out as audio. does any1 know why?
lenchen1617: when you say: "then just rip it...", i'm helpless. i don't know how to rip DVDs. please help me. :(
SangsterBoy: When I finished ripping a dvd, it has an error message and when I opened the file, it won't play. Can somebody help?
yotufreaka: Well, make sure you've all the required codecs to play the file. For instance, ffdshow.
benjovi07: This is great, but if you pay for the DVD and own it, you should be allowed to rip it and put it on an iPod or something else.
warshadow711: No matter what title I put it on, it shows an error and is unable to open the file, help?
hobbit422: omg, im so pissed, i downloaded loads of crap and i didnt know that vlc could do it!
Thanks jimmyrcom
raven1048: Does VLC separate the chapters?
psphackerowned: thanx this is easyer and doesnt take as long as the full dvdfab
raymondmannion: told me what i needed to know quickly and I am really grateful for your time in posting this.
Wierdplaceflms: I bought borat on dvd just because this video.
I swear, I thought it was pirated. Then I saw:
(c)2007 fox
Is life? No. Demorez.
and I laughed my ass off.
dustin4vn: wow vlc can do anything... wow. play video, add subtitles, select codec, if they have a better skin, dang it will overload window media player for good. the only other thing they need is possibility to burn ipod and dvd
Maartiegitaartie: vlc already pwned windows media player ;)
dustin4vn: no, vlc cannot burn cd... if u really think through it... vlc have only basic features. the only good feature it have is ripping dvd. their converter decrease quality actually. some may even be corrupted files. plus vlc contain some sort of spyware u might not know. I quit using it already.
mattcamarano: windows media player was pwned when it was made. windows media player sucks regardless.
REMIXTHATSONG: hey thanks :)
Im subscribingg!
Slazzy: Doesn't this have an AVI option? Is raw just VOB/IFO/BUP output?
