It'll ding when there's a new video. Add as many people as you like! If you want to post a video response on your favorite aggregator or how to setup feeds on IE7 / Mac / Linux do it! p1d2 also recommended Miro to do the same thing http://www.getmiro.com/download/ Youtube now uses a new gdata format and doesn't require a developer key. It also added a whole bunch more variables you can attach to the query string making things possible that weren't before. |

jimmyrcom: there is only html / javascript on that form. Either way you cannot see php, it is run internally and is not output to the pages.
Asteao: That explains a lot, but it always helps to see examples on other pages and see how its all done.

CheesyJedi: Is google reader just sucky or something? Because when I tried to put your website code into it's "Add Subscription" interface, it just spewed out an error, no matter what youtuber's name I put in...

p1d2: You can do the same thing with Miro (formerly democracy player), but you also get the videos downloaded to your computer. And it uses VLC as it's player (which is flaky).
TravisZeckert: I use google reader and it works great, I just don't use this, so I would use this if I didn't share a computer (could stay logged into gmail).

jack2452: you know on your Part 1 Windows From Clean Install To Efficiency vid you said that go to advanced and change to best performance, when i did that my computher got slow and my computer looks ugly. i change it back but it not working.
jimmyrcom: Just go back and adjust for best appearance. It makes your computer faster not slower. If it's slower it's because of something else you did.

jimmyrcom: whats not working? Best appearance makes your comp slower. Your likely having a problem with some other program or something you're running. Trust me setting to best performance is best.

jimmyrcom: you can combine them using yahoo pipes or something, but you have to grab each and every feed for people you're subscribed to

constantyoutoober: Youtube captures the image at the halfway point, the first quarter point, and the third quarter point of every video, and that image will be the picture that represents that video. I assume he put it in so that the image will be the representation of the video.
