Under win,I use a simple script to automate the whole thing to make it even easier.Because win doesn't have a good CLI, so with the help from a software called typeandrun,the whole operation is pretty convenient and fast.One more good thing about using scripts is that you can actually use your fav download tool,as long as it's callable by the script,instead of getting stuck with whatever the browser offers you.
So my solution is:a simple powershell script+wget+typeandrun

jimmyrcom: miscellanousP told me the youtube one. I got divx one using wireshark and cameup with the imdb one myself.
JoelTheLemur: Great video, one thing though, you can download videos off of stage 6 without doing it the way displayed here, just in case no one knew, not suggesting anything, just saying. When you load the window there is the little straight button next to the play one, just click that to download the divx movies, and after the movie fully loads/buffers, you can just click that blue X on the right side of the player to download it as an AVI as well. Nice video again.
jimmyrcom: you can also right click, click preferences and set the divx file to auto save to My Documents\My Movies\Divx Videos. Easier to download without having to wait though.

well, the reason is:
Youtube uses different servers/subdomains for different videos.
So, it doesn't work for Youtube video download anymore. :-(

allows to download youtube videos (and videos from most other video sites) with one click.
(right click on a video when its playing and select 'download to realplayer')

Sometimes, they have this & simbol at the end, it isn't part of the id.
I had the same problem at the begining. Then i changed the location of the NEW bookmark i created. I created it into the bookmarks folder.

jelleoelle: for the IMDB page, you don't have to setup any bookmarks.
Just type the movie title into your google search box and also put imdb anywhere, and hold "alt" while pressing enter (might be another key on other browsers). This gives you the "I feel lucky", wich takes you to the correct imdb page almost always.

saken: You should also know that if you right click any search field in firefox and goto "Add a keyword for this search..." it will automatically allow you to put in a keyword that you will enter in the location bar before any search you may want to do on that site.
Knowing that, you can easily set up these quick keywords on any site that has a search function.
