Comments:
Feuchte15: i tried watching this video for ours :("This is a private video. If you have been sent this video, please make sure you accept the sender's friend request."
mohammedbaboor: Yeah same here. I think it's 'cause he uploaded two videos in a short time.
mitdylan: Wow, you're so wrong it hurts.
pimpsahoy1594: how did you get that player? i thought it was only for partners
nmcat1: woo first comment and rating 5/5
pimpizzle2: Oh dont you also press the space button to fastford?
WhoblehwahV2: Cool vid. I want to see a speed run of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. That game took me a while to beat. I still have trouble with it on psp, lol.
jack2452: so your a youtube partner now?
jamieflanagan1: Sometimes I do mgs2 speed runs.
TrueAmv: jimmy... dude.. i love you... i ...love...you.... xD lol but really .. thanks alot .. this is JUST wat ive been looking for to spend some of my time.
5/5
jimmyrcom: it's a "feature" of being a partner
mountshasta2002: what are you guys talking about?
SnareDaniel: its still annoying.
partners just upload and leave it like that.
Meddlmoe: do you know "morrowind" in 7 minutes
jimmyrcom: It's one of my favorites. I have a link in the description to my favorites.
califasio: we love you
we love you
we love you
we love you
we love you
we love you
H2Glitch2007: i like how he says yahoo. yeah who
duecex2: It's pronounced "Doos Ex".
CaRC1n0g3n: No, it's "Dayus Ex". The developers themselves said so.
bionic0n3: who is this? oh right its JimmyR, where have you been... i was thinking suicide when i didn't see your videos for a while
civixier: i cant see what your favicon in your site is, what is it? :D
xMacGyver: JimmyR is love
<333333333
hahahaha
just kidding
Jimmy did you hear?
Battle Toads got pushed back till June 08 D:
jimmyrcom: It's ok, I'll just call gamestop everyday until then.
dfrusdn: Jimmy you should sign up to be the new gamespot reviewer. Since one was fired
joefx69: Yeah i heard about that. Was that the Eidos thing???
dfrusdn: yep you got it. The staff now is said to be threatening to leave
joefx69: Wow omg, i dont blame them! Wicked to hear they are standing up for him like that, what a ridiculous thing to happen in the first place. Thanx for the info mate
l0l0Shadow0l0l: I really like your voice o: if you were my teacher in school I'd actually listen
TJazZ1337: Uh-oh, some mistakes in there Jimmy. First off, speed runs are not necessarily made by emulators. TASvideos is a site dedicated to making speed runs utilizing the advantages of an emulator (save-states, slowmotion, etc.) Second, it's Speed Demos Archive (SDA) and not Speed run demos. At SDA, there are no emulators involved at all... just real gamers, real skills (like that 4-hour FF3 run for example). No cheats involved.
Tophillious: I saw a run of someone playing Super Smash Bros Melee through adventure playing as Jigglypuff :O. Search on google video "SSBM Adventure Mode Speed Run by Peter Yeh".
tetranoob: Opera Rules!
thanx for another great video jimmy!
jimmyrcom: I have 43 tabs opened in firefox.
Alas777: does having lots of tabs opened in firfox make your computer slower, you know like does it take more memory? just wondering let me know anytime if you have time
jimmyrcom: I have 2 gig memory. 51 tabs = 400mb memory on mine. Supposedly it keeps increasing, but it's not a memory leak, firefox just isn't decreasing it's reported consumption when it unallocates memory. Usually it takes around 200mb with tab mix plus and bunches of tabs. Loading plugins like flash / java take more. Doesnt make comp slower if bunch of mem
DcTBP: i've been into watching speed runs for a few months now, theres something addictive about watching people do things in 10 seconds than took me half an hour
DKfansown: what would you recommend as a good nes emulator? snes emulator?
fabian2006: i hope u make more videos with interesting things to watch, sometimes i just dont know what else do in internet.
thanks man
mrphanman: could you do a tutorial for recording game play on the computer? it would help a lot =]
Chinimini: Thanks alot Jimmy, great videos as always!
I just saw a speedrun on Resident Evil 4, that took 2 hours, that was pretty cool.
Thanks again Jimmy! :D
ForFun808: Wow great video Jimmy! I didn't know about either of those sights. Your so insightful and knowledgeable, that I think your the BEST guru on YouTube. :)
Even better than that HouseholdHacker guy, because that guy creates such unpractical how to videos.
crazybigyo: that's dumb cause you could like buy another computer and a better connection with that money, but i get your point.:D
ssj2VolgZ: I'd definatly would shoot ppl for even 10000 dollars a month :P
XxESKIMOxX: yeah imagine its your friends and family that your shooting very fun!
elshizzo: Jimmy these are seriously two of the coolest links I've ever seen on the web, you rule. I can't fkin believe theres a website out there that has saved every website in existence over long periods of time. It blows my mind. Why havent I heard about this link before?
Seifer007: thanks jimmy heeh relly useful and fun lol
JigglesJingle: WOO JIMMYR RULEES!! Please run in 08 Jimmy!
popdogman123: hey jimmy what computer you got ?
slikind: Wow, those people must have absolutly no lifes.
'How do you kill that which has no life?'
Sasuke731: wow nice, glad i subscribed XD
EmpathicEnigma: "it's a pretty uh... powerful big site or whatever" lol
Yeah, speed runs are really fun to watch, more so than TAS's, as they're attempts to finish the game all in one go without any assistance - more so for those speed runs that cover all levels without using any warps...
pongman: wicked awesome, now about that website on learning Dutch?
linkthelunn: lol dues ex rofl
"pronounced like juice but with a d" "duce"
TendouJigoku: Try again, pronounced the same as Deus Ex Machina, which is a term anyone should know by grade 11 english
dey-uhs eks
dee-uhs eks
linkthelunn: i know u can pronounce it that way, but most people i know pronounce it like juice rofl
but it sure isnt "day oss"
i guess its probably because i live in australia
i kringe everytime i hear an american say australia ugh!
but yeh...the way u sed it is the proper way... i just reckon it sounds better rofl...wow i spelt deus ex wrong as well!!
you say tomato...i say potato xD
Thargh: XxESKIMOxX yep, i would gladly play a shooter if it was my family :)
Remember, that in there is a model with pixels falling down with an animation, it is not the death of a feeling person.
willabbot: J...jjj....jimmy..... w....wh.....why.. a...are.... y-y-y...you uu-uu....using... o...oo-oo-o...OPERA?!?!? i thought you were a firefox man! You rave about firefox in so many vids!!! but in your recent ones you've been using opera!! what's up with that? oh yeah, and great video. but why? (i'm so sad. :( )
Theyain: Not trying to be rude, but how is that an answer? ?_?
jimmyrcom: firefox is in single instance mode, rather have a clean opera than record with tons of tabs open
PspH3lp3R: dude this comment has nothing to do with this video but since its your newest video.
Ok i used a program Active Kill Disk Hard Drive Eraser.
So when it finished deleting all my files/etc it restarted.
Then it says Error loading operating system.
I tried entering my XP home edition disk but it doesnt work.
Also when it says hit any key to boot from disk, I hit the keys and it doesnt do anything.
Thnx Jimmyrcom please reply,i need help badly.
Also this is my other computer.
jimmyrcom: f8 a bunch of times and try loading from cd. If not click del or esc or whatever key to enter bios and set boot priority to cd drive
PspH3lp3R: Hmmm doesnt work but thanks anyway. :X
Love your videos :P
PspH3lp3R: My bad it does work but the boot key doesnt work idk why.
im going to computer shop.
THNX!!
Pazma1: Definitely going to check them out, I've seen a couple of Mario Brothers ones before and they were amazing, there was one video of two guys racing each other to get to the end of a level, they were pretty much flawless. Thanks Jimmy
ynotbegoodtoall: I don't normally comment, but I like your videos, keeping this old dog up to date with newer tech issues! You need to get your own Tech TV type show! WTG Jimmy!
jsvitak: Wow thats really intreasting...
Another great video, 5/5 =D
Ghakimx: So Jimmy, what old school games did you play before?
binosan: NICE!!! THANKS FOR THE INFO did´nt know about that cool
Contredanse: Awesome vid!
Did anybody else notice that he switched from Mozilla to Opera? LOL
DarkMod00132: Beating Chrono Trigger in 4 hours means that that person probably missed a lot of cool extra stuff! I'm pretty sure that it took me 10-15 hours to beat that the first time. And I could never beat Final Fantasy III/VI! I got it on my gameboy last year and got stuck SOOOO close to the end!(and it got STOLEN, so now I may never beat it DX) I might need to check out one of those Final Fantasy III speedruns XD(Though they probably skipped a lot of cool extra stuff XP)
CreeperVirus: Jimmy,
First of, keep it up. I've subscribed to you long time ago, you're awesome
I don't really know if you made a separate page for suggestions or not, but i was actually wondering if you could make a tutorial on finding live international sports games on the internet... In other words, i'd like to watch my favorite soccer team form Argentina play live on my computer since it is very hard to find it on TV, even with Direct TV or Comcast! Thanks, i hope you can throw me a bone here...
codypattemore: does it have lots of viruss thanks
jimmyrcom: sorry I can't read you message. All the viruses I got from watching speed runs made all the characters on my computer japanese.
SoldatCrinale: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I love your sarcasm. suscribed!
cogar48: lol jimmy your reply to the last comment =p subscribed.
draw123: What is illegal? oeyeballs, This is not illegal. Emulators are legal.
fajarka333: ok first of all i think you are reflecting there with the baldness and homophobia an second what he does with his account is HIS business
AkumaADemoncus: i havn't played mario 64 in a long time, i wonder if i should download it for the computer. my nintendo 64 has broken down a long time ago
Bisqwit: Wow, I spotted this video from the referrer log of my server. Thanks for creating it :)
CrimsonKnight200: I've always wonder how they recorded speed runs.
bryanflipin87: I get a black full screen when I try to play tomb raider ISO file in ePSXe. I got all the plugins and right bios(the 1001.bin), but that damn black screen does not go away. any help would be appreciated.
whatfrog903: awesome thanks! I like the archieve thing
piratesephiroth: Yeah... you should see the recently published MArio 64 0-star by Rikku, or the Rockman & Forte 100 cds by parrot14green... You'd be really shocked...
oliver2341: I get a black full screen when I try to play tomb raider ISO file in ePSXe. I got all the plugins and right bios(the 1001.bin), but that damn black screen does not go away. any help would be appreciated.
jimmyrcom: ask in some emulation forums, or just ask google tomb raider epsxe
hentajus: try changing the video card plugin options or changin the entire video plugin... you can find loads of them on NGEMU
owok69: yeah its true those guys are insane mario 1 in 7 min or so
SykoPainKilla: Thank you jimmy r :).
your videos own :).
asdi1234: thanks for this, you are a great man.
raw810: Awesome, not just this one, but EVERY video of yours, carismatic, energetic, informative, a light mood and sense of humor, really nice to hear and see.
WindowsPCHelper: Agreed. His videos are very great to watch.
DaBlueDragoon: Speeddemosarchive is MUCH better. Way more people and way more games.
a7xwoohoo: hi jimmy i noticed you used a subliminal message for your main LONG video was it on purpose or a mistake?
edonldutch: Like you video's m8. keep it up.
ps, yea good old times, snes age way my favo.
Thesupermadman: Zsnes! I had that for my linux laptop!
manonfirex42: yo your videos are the shit
Sinzo2007: yo you are mentally retarded, go see a doctor
xXxhaloitupxXx: yo have you been locked in a cave? he said they "are the shit" not that they were shit. you dumb ass he was complementing them.

admir2323: ur the tard that doesent know english... your videos are the shit IS GOOD
pkhamidar2com: hey

i hate opra
because it just feels reallly weird, i love love love firefox, but it jus feels weird to use opra all of a sudden.
Ro0hm3: Both are good in my opinion. It's pwnage to change the source code with Opera. ;-)
Ro0hm3
Ro0hm3: I recommend Snes9x for SNES, it got inbuilt "FPS slowdown & speedup" and a inbuilt recorder.
Easy to use.
Ro0hm3
Lacktardo: Yeah, I'd rather watch speed runs without TAS, that's much more incredible.
TeChNoGeEk11: hey jimmy when did you change to opera?
wazup944: why is ur screen small????????????????????
ninestar: I´d like to show my video of an recorded Mega Drive game but how can I record it with an emulator? Its pretty much easy with snes games but what emu would you recommend for Mega Drive games? I have Gens but dont seem to find something to record in the options. Hope that someone can help.

Tigrerra18: wow and yet i try to beat sonic1 record time, and now i know y i can't succeed
robintoc1111: it's dues ex (dé us ex) :)
