There's also flashgot, flashget, free download manager, download reaper, leechget, download accelerator pro, downloadthemall extension in firefox and many others. wget is just multi OS and very very simple and fast but useless if you can't live without a UI. |

Devletor: Nope you can use like Flashget select all links and download all at once :)
jimmyrcom: it's mentioned in the description. Flashget is for windows only, is 4mb, and is kind of annoying in my opinion.

jimmyrcom: I assume you mean the roadrunner isp? Meh a lot of people have different stuff. There is also an ATT monopoly on dsl in most areas.

vmistry94: did you know theres a new firefox extension called "downloadthemall", and its extremely fast and you can do everything you can do on wget, but faster i think. but good tutorial

Tophillious: If you don't want to go into the command prompt to get into wget, you can use a batch file and put in the following:<br/><br/>cd C:\wget (assuming you put wget here)<br/>wget <paste download url here>

pokemonlovermand: you can allso use the torrent program such as utorrent and bitcomet. its the same but i think that you CANT downloade all the files at once so that program is really nice

newcastleDT: Why when I use "-r" it only downloads every other picture for example it downloads 1, 3, 5, 7 ... but it leaves 2, 4, 6... out why? and it downloads the html page when I use "-A jpg, gif" why is it downloading the html page? can anyone help?

I download videos in windows & there is a better way which simply to get xilisoft youtube converter which downloads & converts videos all you need is to drag the link in the program if your using safari because it has text drag feature so its way way easier than you said there is also an easier way in mac but I like to learn

btw. better way on Windows is to add wget.exe to system32 folder (or other folder,what is in your path). ;-)
