dovad16: Thanks. This helped a lot. I was too lazy to do research on it and now I don't have to.
Hashbrowniepie: Thanks. I knew it was some sort of Updater for searches and stuff like that, but never really thought I would use it. I'll check it out. I think you mentioned the Feedreader proggy in another one of your videos. Thanks again.
KillaMarci: Thats great , didnt know that , cool tut man =)
alcky13: I have been using RSS for a long time, mostly for Webcomics. since the majority of webcomics update at random times, RSS is very helpfull and saves the time from checking on the site to see if they have updated.
Good vid man.
TravisZeckert: I like Google Reader, easy to use with my Gmail Account.
qwertyzaqx: woot Jimmy!!! nice tutorial man, keep it up.
Zoneman1: Firefox has a RSS auto Subscribe!
jimmyrcom: I want people to try out different rss readers, if they click autosubscribe I'll get a bunch of questions later saying "wahh! I can't get url now"
Asteao: you should have talked about iTunes podcasts, they use rss feeds.
PridhamPro: Google also has something like an rss but better. It's called google reader. It's almost like rss but better. It shows new things from websites almost like an email. You should just check it out, it's awesome.
jimmyrcom: I like igoogle way better. google reader is better for full content rss with more than 9 entries.
handidandi: so basically its like a subscription on the internet.
pimpsahoy1594: i always wondered about these. thanks
Seven3000: How is Kelley Osborne an actress?
jimmyrcom: acted like a popstar, and was on the fake show the ozbornes.
Nordininin2: Good Job jimmie, i love the tutorials, Make more!
caseyferguson: Did you talk about this in a way on the Firefox Clean install tutorial that you made? It could have been another tutorial that was about Firefox I don't remember. But I know that you have talked about this. But it is very helpful.
ericsp0f: cool
ps coooooooooooooooooooooool
camarojay007: jimmy thanx for the knowledge. it is power. i use all of the tips you put on youtube. ...jonny 5 need more input lol.
jack2452: hay jimmy can you help me. when i download programs it said it can't . i made a vid
watch?v=4Bin0iVZhoc
desert22eagle22: you don't need that rss program. You could use firefox to subscribe to the feed and you get it in your bookmarks.
xxSetxx: thanks I was always to lazy check out what those were now I dont have too
Wiikid64: Very nice, I always wanted a video like this! I finally understand RSS. I thought it was just for the PSP lol. I feel so stupid.
U ROCK JIMMY!
PS: Can u maybe make a tut on showing us how to make our OWN RSS feed?
Tophillious: Nice. I use RSS feeds on my Igoogle page all the time. Very useful.
bachura: Hola Jimmy
Muchas gracias por tus videos. Este video me será muy útil. También muchas gracias por los videos con páginas para aprender idiomas, son los mejores!
Te seguiremos apoyando!
ridingterry: si! videos de Jimmy son lo maximo!!! xD
tagwelsh: Great video again Jimmy keep them coming
MMLOVEN: young jimmy you are great at what you do. you teach very well. but i hope that you will soon learn that it is not cool to exploit women by the gratuitous use of their image
jimmyrcom: its britney spears, gimmie a break, the squirrel looks better on her.
sdrgnzhong: I LOVE HEROES!
nice vid. ^^
GMRghost: What the hell is up with these pictures? xD
Nice tutorial by the way :D
SRUPlatinum: Nice Vid. I'm a little bit pissed right now though. I used your site to check Digg, Fark and other website's RSS feeds. But my school blocked your site. DO you know of any other sites that have RSS feeds similar to yours? (BTW proxy's don't work there [temp suspension from comp] and all internet access is firewalled unless it's IE6)
johnjollyjack: You make more sense than George Bush!! Excellent
ogwilson: craigs list also has a feature like the ebay search one. i use it to keep a nice eye on things im looking for locally. helped me find a good deal for the xbox i just found.
HarposGhost: Just the information I've been looking for - thanks.
amnwill: i heard of RSS but never really knew what it was. watching this video pretty much explained it all. YOU ROCK!! keep it up with the great videos.
Vipsco: TERRIBLE. I could not even finish watching it. NOWHERE in the video does he even explain what RSS means LOl- I could only stand 4 minutes. so maybe he got around to it at the end. BORING as hell. But the idea is in the right place
ChugaTheMonkey: he's not here to entertain anyone, he's here to teach things on youtube so don't complain.
johnjollyjack: TWAT!
Press the back button instead of putting stupid remarks
demonhand: Very useful as usual! 5 stars.
tubeie07: Just a moment to stop and say 'Thank You' again Jimmy! Your helpful tutorials help everyone with their gaps in knowledge about computers and related matters... Not said often enough, but thanks again from Australia!
dang3rz0n3: A Jimmy classic. Thanks so much man.
Sushiiiiiiiiiiiii: gooooooooooooooood jobuuu jimmy!

do u have the link for the "How to of the Day" or put it on the description?
unusualwierdo: The "How to Of the Day"
is at wikiHow(DOT)com/feed.rss
johnjollyjack: jimmy is making vids to help the community and this is the response you give? SHAME ON YOU...wanker
TitanIsBack: Jimmy, no one watches them torrents!
SuperWaffleNinja: MUTEL8R, I think Jimmy does a great job on these videos. If you don't like them, don't watch. And certainly don't comment with suicide suggestions
a7x310: Hey Jimmy,
Just wondering if your 100th video is going to be a really awesome tutorial on something amazing? ^_^
unusualwierdo: Hey, where is the feed for "How to of the day"?
unusualwierdo: Never mind its wikihow(DOT)com/feed.rss
yumboyet: thanks... your vdoz are really helpfull
i appreciate your hardwork. keep it up man
one request, can you please make a tutorial on how to download torrents. are they safe to download
thanks
Sprut6: This was so helpful! I've seen rss on so many things but I had never really understood what the point was. Thanks for this.
Johanna1476: I'm addicted to bloglines. Honestly, its the only RSS reader I've used but its simple so I'm sticking with it ;) Keep up the great videos :D
ZachsMind: Okay so.. rss makes searches easier. Searches are already pretty easy. This is like.. organizing repeated searches so you can do them even faster? I can't tell if I'm too lazy to organize searches now, or if it'd be more lazy of me to organize searches now so I don't have to think in the future. Either way I'm pretty damned lazy. Great tutorial tho.
jerommeke69: Very interesting!
I had been wondering about this for a while!
Thank you Jimmy!
footballphan: The eBay feed is genius. Thanks again Jimmy.
jack2452: hay you know how to open an autprint.mrk
Kingaxel1: whats up with the video icon at 3:28?
eltatertoto: techroradi not in desc. but nice vid!

anneangersbach: love your videos!
i already knew bout rss cos i did a paper about podcasts, but this was very nicely done :)
btw... i've been wondering what tool you use for screen-recording.. :) if u get time to read your comments, maybe let me know.
Chrisakacloud: Great video i have always wondered what rss was thanks
jonny0204: I thought i knew all there was to know about them, nd u just gave me the idea of rss-ing all of the prison break episode, cheers.
virindi73: ??? I still don't get what RSS is for? I use IE, does it give me a separate webpage with everything I've RSS'd? Do you need FeedReader in order for it to be useful?
thesnakedoctor8: ??? Grease Monkey ???
what is this nonsense
israelgaribaldi: wow i never knew that. your right, very usefull. i gave you 5 stars
icedragon873: 1 Question: What does RSS stand for?
jimmyrcom: type "define RSS" in google, as if it helps much.
UKBlackhawk: stands for 'Rich Site Summary'
AlmightySea: Excellent tut, thanks finally I understand :)
Really usefull!
BTW... you talk about Heroes like it sucked "Let's say Heroes or something which is super popular for some reason" with sarcasm added to it but than you had already search for specific episodes for download :p
jimmyrcom: no tard, mininova has an ajax autocomplete similar to google suggest
AlmightySea: tard? Funny... I could swear only tards use mininova and piratebay. And I sure don't.
jimmyrcom: thanks for the misquote, but I said I don't download shitty camrip movies and I didn't say anything about mininova in that video, tard.
AlmightySea: I think you should watch your own vid than to see what you talked about.
And like if anyone believed you don't use torrents.
jimmyrcom: bah, I think you should stop watching my videos if your arrogant enough to suggest you know what I said better than I do. +block
mattbennington: Thanks, whenever my friends want to know what RSS is or how to set it up I just direct them here :D. Great video and some good ideas on what to use RSS for.
syed1994: Try Google Reader instead of iGoogle, its a feedreader. To find out, search Google Reader in google.
TimoKick: You can now get RSS in Google Account.Since a few day's Google Reader is out the Labs.If you have a Google account you can logon
google [dot com] slash reader.
You can add RSS-feeds. Catogisize them, Search threu them like you can search in gMail. Give them tags.
The handy of this compared to Safari,FeedReader,Thunderbird,FireFox is that the articles and URL's aren't saved on your Harddisk but in your Google Space(4.4 gb of gMail)
syed1994: I posted it first, but nevermind. Its new anyways.
Gojulas895: Great video Jimmycorn. I knew how to utilize RSS but quick forwarding of this video showed a bunch of other people who didn't "get it" how to as well.
kingkirby7714: wow, i had no idea how useful RSS and iGoogle were. thanks ^_^
21beal21: wow man thts awesome, this will definitely be useful to me, thx again for the great info
syed1994: Thanks Jimmy. And why everyone try to vote me red? Oh my god, abusive people.
SilverKey7: hehe -4
me too me too .. -5 :P
Thargh: hey is it possible to get RSS on ur desktop without Vista? i saw somebody had it and it looked like Windows XP, but i might have been windowed URLS i dunno
jimmyrcom: enable active desktop and add bloglines, google reader or some other site. why would you want it on your desktop though just make feed reader open on startup, it will open popups when new content comes
RollingThunderHorse: Thanks...very helpful...I couldn't figure out how to use the RSS feeds that I wanted.
Sosower: Thank You your videos are very helpful
shizuoka123: Wow! I'm going to look into this; I never knew how useful this is; but you've shown me the light. Thanks Jimmy, you just got another subbie!
Peace YT.
bobo4884: i no oh more sites just comment me back on my page on youtube and i will tell you the other sites
simplyalon: My favorite techie is Jimmy! Thanks a million dude, you save so much time and hair follicles
Nonfathomable: 1 geek to rule them all...jimmy you are awesome
rockysimon2005: How do you get feedreader for yahoo mail?
nickelman153: About RSS. How come the subscriptions of your don't show up when a new video is uploaded?
jimmyrcom: it's cached, how often, I dont know
rockysimon2005: So that means that if you upload a video, it won't show up on feedreader for a while?
SardonicusRexx: What is feedreader? That is, what type of software? It's not a browser, right? What's RSS stand for?
The grouing tip was great. The Notable Events bit was a great tip, as was the Ebay one.
The torrents thing was great too.
vietfolife: hey i get everything but this: i combined the feeds to make 1 feed then i deleted the other feeds then all the stuff in the feeds i deleted was deleted in the smartfeed or whatever. please help me

suggestion: do you know about audacity? you could show people how to rip the audio off of youtube videos and saving them as mp3
SenoreQueso: Yeah, he does. In fact if you search audacity on his channel, or you watch some of his other vids, he uses it a lot.
msfunky1: booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!:(!!!!!

isitluk: RSS kicks butt! best kept not-secret! thanks jimmy!
gidiyup: Great video. I love all of your videos.. Question: I'm working on a Blog and I want to figure out how to get my blog topics on RSS. Can you do a video on how to do that? I hope I asked the question right.

fanterusk: who do actually need this information?
darksaiyan2006: Well unless you want to be an ignorant soab who does not know where the sun is, you should need informations. CNN has feeds and reading them is very useful.
darksaiyan2006: CNN, BBC, local news too, depending on where you live... RSS feeds are really good!
cielonagel: Wow.. now I know what RSS is.. Cool Man..
