H2Glitch2007: whats up with this is a private video
jimmyrcom: guess it hadn't updated yet. I set both to private at first so they'd be visible at the same time, instead of part 2 being up for like 30 minutes before part 1, confusing people.

StJimmyPyro: Great video Jimmy, I love how you apply the learning of batch files, and give practical uses for them. I'm awaiting Part 2, any idea when that'll be out?

SilentMagic: awesome work Jimmy! Are you a college professor ?
ftodd1: Jimmy, I was having trouble finding the download and examples you had on your website a few months ago, after you changed the format did you take out that part. I love the news page - I look at a few time a day. Thanks Todd
jimmyrcom: the flv downloads aren't working anymore because a change youtube made, if that's what you mean.
pongman: I have FLV download Program for You Tube files and it still works. I also have a You Tube MP3 converter program.
ftodd1: No, I meant the area where you had the links to the files to download like 7-zip ect.
EvanVolm: I was totally lost after the very first word you uttered. I usually understand most of your videos, but this is way over my head.
jimmyrcom: introduction to batch files is in vid description
pleabargain: Keep 'em coming! You're videos are my dose of howto!
a7x310: This video was really helpful. I've been using batch files recently, and I never thought to try something like this. You seize to amaze me again, Jimmyr.
Tophillious: Haha, "That's right.."
Incredibly useful info. Would it be possible to mix different batch files? For example, rip an mp3, than immediately after, open the mp3 with audacity in one batch file. Thanks.
prugotwist: what for? I like this guy's tutorials but this one was completely stupid.
jimmyrcom: yeah, or vlc player, just enter one line at a time, the %1 is the filename argument, you may have to put it in quotes. The best time saver is converting a video with mediacoder and attaching my intro and outro automatically in virtualdub with the settings already ready for youtube.
fcommmisso: too bad i have a mac. no DOS. You know any Unix commands similar?
jimmyrcom: you have "applescript" in mac
jpomac: Congrats on the 101st video tutorials made!
chicogap2: your videos are exelent but, can you please put subtitles in spanish or something like that???
muffinmonster15: I was wondering what a certain batch file was.
and i found it here:
Start>All Programs>Startup>check-ip-changed.bat
any ideas?
jack2452: hay jimmy do you like Cooliris Firefox?
jimmyrcom: nah the whole preview thing doesn't make sense on a fast connection
jack2452: ok and do you use at&t DSL?
olamannj: Jimmy! I have a problem with my computer! I turned it off, and when i was goin to turn it on again, The screen was black! I tried with another screen, and it was still black!!!!!! Plz, can u help me?
philly1537: jimmy is a fag try yahoo answers
BLACKMETALMAYO: I've got a fast connection, and I use Cooliris to avoid being Rick Roll'd.
onepieceisnice: thx your videos are the best seen about 40 of your videos.
Onwlyix: I've always loved batch files. I used them with my thumbdrive alot. Great tut.
williamn6133: Learning curve on this video WAY too steep. I think you should make a short, separate video explaining what the problem is and why we need batch files to solve it.
vickov: Thanks Jimmy.. I really like your patient style in explaining each step.
Great job sharing your knowledge! Keep it up.
BLANKMEMORYDATA: how do you make it so that if you press Y it does something different than N
lordofsraam: u need special command lines:
set input=
set /p input= type here:
if %input%== y echo yes
if %input%== n echo no
pause
try that, send me a messsage for the specifics
lordofsraam: u need special command lines:

CKyzOnLy: hehe well thanks jimmy for all this lol, mean im only 13 hope to study up and get a job in computing since im useless in school.:P now just watching your videos over and over so i can just do what you do without watching the video over, lol trying to do it by myself haha. thanks
smalldude55: hey jimmy is there a way to open outlook express' inbox with a batch file?
AkumaADemoncus: isn't there a .bat file that can crash a computer? curious cause i think i've seen it before, i think it only works on xp though
CKyzOnLy: yeah i have to , someone tried to send one to me the other day , it like just has a command inside that just deletes shit off your registry ;(=P
kotopro49: can you post the code to that batch?
ultrapilpo: can u do something like this
@echo off
cls
:a
set /p example=
if %example%==a sentence goto end
goto a
:end
echo finished
exit
and hence can u say if its equal to a number of words instead of just one word cuz when i run that above code it only notices the first word and the rest as commands
jimmyrcom: looks like you over extended the abilities of simple batch files. Use python or php with regex.
emerald0: OMG
thank you so much i needed to know how to take the sound out of video
once again thanx sooo much
jimmyrcom: watch the vid, "Howto Convert & dl youtube Vids to ipod/mp3/dvd/avi/wmv etc". you can save as mp3 or wav. If you just want to mute it to dub or something use virtualdub.
MaGijs: heey dude i think your vid are the very best!
can you make vids about making a fake virus?
there is a lot of fuz about it!
please make a vid about it.
later.

TheBlueThread: Great thanks!
btw do you know how tpo make it extract/add to archive using like 7zip and %1 in batch?

mrLin10: Woo..! U R an eXcellant teacher..!
SuperPHILIPK: Where did you learn these commands?
Pizzahedd: i dont get it. Why would you do all that echo clear stuff if you did the same thing in the last movie with just typing start and then the file name
200twistatwista: I use bat file's to bypass web filter's at school.
pjwithbread8: howd u add that option to the context thingie menue u said, cause i did this before a ton of times just never knew how to do that o.O
eyeAMtwinkEE: What program is that that you are writing in?
FeedMEBabies: i know, but he asked what Jimmy used.
tinykiddo: jimmy dont u get tired of talking?
rickard93d: ur good...but urgonna getta a girlfriend :S 111 vids... but anyway ur good
limdul: The batch-menu - someone's been playing with "choice", I guess. ^^
jnbjabnk: how do you add it in your right mouse butten menu?
opkl25: just do it like this....
