Comments:
omghom: umm, idiot? ur using windows classic skin are ur not using cleartype on the fonts. that demonstrates that ur a total ignorant on computers.ozanbacak: I've started watching your videos, and have a question....
How do we eliminate idiotic comments (like the one omghom typed furioously)even before the're thought of?
Thanks :)
jimmyrcom: Invent a cure for the Dunning-Kruger effect and put it in the water supply or include it in all vaccinations.
ozanbacak: Don't do anything useful... They might arrest you LOL :D
raulbot: sounds like omghorn is a little jealous bitch
XSenergyBHD: Can you recommend a program that i can use to change the resolution of a video from desktop size down to the youtube size... I capture alot of gameplay...
jimmyrcom: virtualdub using the resize filter
biantai888: Another excellent video!
I am very interested in the Command Prompt in containing folder. How do I get it to open in the containing folder and not the default folder?
Also, why does it say "DosHere" and "Notetab Pro" in your registry rather than the full text on your context menu?
jimmyrcom: the full text is set in the default data within the key. Even though they're folder icons they can contain data. Google "dos folder context". I got it automatically using a tweak from a program called X-setup.
adamgooday: awesome thanks for this. it works in vista
TheEazyB: thank you for this, but can you help me with removing somethingfrom these same menus?
r34dm4n: there is no "shell" on my end here.... all i see is " *, openwithlist, shellex" and there is nothing in shellex either...
kungbore000: I don't have any shell either and this is posted 1 year ago... How the f* i'm gonna find my shell now??
databert: just make a new key with the name "shell" in the *
xD than u'll find it
one1truplaya: thanks, that was helpful. i needed a registry for vlc player since vlc works with so many video media files.
sehs333: Great tutorial, thank you very much Jimmy.
connerthomas: my regedit turns itself off...
when i say that i mean i can only be on regedit for 1-2 seconds and then i have to:
Start>Run>regedit>1-2 seconds>Try Again>etc
Ace753: How do you FIND stuff like this?? Do u just get bored and say, "hey, im gonna find out how to edit my windows context menu!"
jimmyrcom: the cia surgically implanted chips random computer information into my head. Now I can't even go to the super market without thinking I need to leave it defragging first.
Compgenius999: ty i can now make easier use of cmd and notepad
icm17: this doesn't work on sp2 I guess.. in * there's only "openwithlist" and "shellex"
NoRogeR: Thanks a lot mate :)
btw if you guys dont have "shell" folder, just make one, it still works :)
MastaShake00: Thank you for that information. I just couldn't get mine to appear. I'm using XP Pro and I have a Shellex key instead of the Shell key. Adding a Shell key under "*" and then adding your program key works fine. Thanks again!
iamsoownage: Thanks, this was very helpful. (:
truepalikka: Is it possible to make a new filetypefolder to the registry which for example inludes all imagetypes so I don't have to go to all of the imagetypefolders separately?
zumzer0: First time I ever saw anything even mentioning the registry without the warning to back it up first. Tis a scary place. Perhaps a tut on how it works?
CKyzOnLy: man, i have to start>run> annd .exe on the end, worst thing about home edition, lol
firefoxer000: wow great video
i did what u said but put the text without quotes, and every thing works ok,
:)
thanx
RenegadeBrownii: can you do this with the "send to" menu
InfektdGuitarist: wow ty so much that helps a ton
bok4600: I prefer FileMenu Tools. its SO mush easier.
ensekofti: i have "folderlock" installed.
it adds "lock with folder lock" to EVERY condext menu!!
using regedit i managed to remove this from most of them,
but i cant find it and remove it from FOLDERS and FOLDER SHORTCUTS
any help??
hackerhack1: Absolutely Brilliant! I just installed NoteTab And i wanted to be able to right click and click Open With NoteTab Light. (I don't want to replace it instead of notepad!)
hackerhack1: Hey! It won't work when i try and do it with .bat! Why will it not work?
smilingsandy: I LOVE YOU!!!! You have showed me so many things!!!! Thank you so much!!
zanpusnik: Great tutorial!
But for me(WinXP Pro Sp2)the command only works under *\Shell\... but not when i try to do it to specific file type. Anyone has the solution?
Thanks
