stony4321: Dam VLC in Ubuntu doesn't have the codecs, but if you right click and select info and copy the url it plays in mplayer.

Ghakimx: i like VLC alot but when i was watching a vid, i backtracked and then what colours i saw at first were transfered to where i watched.
jimmyrcom: It fudges up the view when moving through wmv files and streams sometimes. Hopefully it'll be fixed by the next version. The betas released so far in the nightly build look really promising, but stuff like skins still crash.
