Apparently autohotkey also has a similar function in their "window spy" feature. Not very visual, but maybe more stable.

This is supposed to be a list of tiny (small file size) freeware not many people know about. Please don't ask why I didn't include gimp, open office, audacity, camstudio, virtualdub or other random programs I've already talked about.

Comments:

felix290492: Ahh maybe not, damn youtube's commenting system!

ferrarikidpimp: Another masterpiece! Well done Jimmy!

StarvMarv: Awesome Jimmy! Glad your back!

caseyferguson: Hey Jimmy how are you making the videos over 10 minutes? Did youtube change something?

jimmyrcom: I'm a youtube partner. Dunno what's my limit or if I have one.

funkwurm: You don't have a limit, but that's not because your a partner. You joined May 2006 and probably got yourself a directors account short after. Back then, that removed the 10 minutes limit.

It doesn't remove the limit anymore, but also doesn't but the limit in to place for existing accounts.

There is a 100 MB upload limit, but with the new uploading software (i.e. not the site itself) also lets you upload to something like 1 GB I believe.

jimmyrcom: The new multiuploader lets you upload even larger files. Even so everything still gets resized and re-encoded to the same low resolution and crappy bitrate. I'm a "guru". I hadn't been able to upload over 11min before. That's you see I have some multipart videos.

l0l0Shadow0l0l: that's really really useful I'm going to check most of these progs out :)

Cyclonebg: Mmm those seem pretty sweet. I'm already using Foxit, but I otherwise tend to stray away from 'useful' but not really necessary programs. The internet is like a box of chocolates, you know... You never know what you're gonna get.

jimmyrcom: You know exactly what you get because I reviewed it and said it's safe.

Cyclonebg: Good point, when I need anything done, I'll be sure to check if there's a program you've reviewed, which solves my problem :)

Razsideacc: Thank you for this :D

(YAYZ FIRSTZZZ)
XD

BisonBeard: Nice Tutorial, but I would like to learn more about the RSS feedreaders

SCOMGH: Resource, GSpot, and pdf Creator are gonna be REALLY helpful to me. Thanks!

elshizzo: you da man jimmy, awesome info as always

TheDish101: What is it with you and foo? Fighters??

boyboy53: i know that...like, with other programs

jimmyrcom: Viruses scan themselves to make sure they're not infected with JimmyRcom

yotubevid: lol
News report:"viruses everywhere are in complete peril....the jimmyr scanning software has infected every virus!!" (all shout "oh noooo" lol

ssj2VolgZ: hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaa

tysonxguitar: awesome vid, this ones gana be added to my favorites

nietaki: Great video, but I still don't like you because you disrespected my program which is btw written in JS not XML...

jimmyrcom: I said XML based. The layout and all it's structure is XML based like firefox XUL. You were bragging because 2000 lines of code, but you were probably include the layout files in your count. XML isn't a programming language and javascript is a scripting language. Make something compiled plz =P.

TwoZigZags: "G spot... Oh yes I will."

Very helpful video as always, Jimmy.

stevenis18: If The Game I Play On Say "MapleStory" It Cant Be Resized. Will Windows Sizer Work On It?

jimmyrcom: hadn't tested on directx/opengl type screens.

caca124: Cool programs jimmy and what does foo mean lol

jdthegameboy: cool but the issue in the pdf creator segment would be easer to just press print screen and paste into paint or something

jimmyrcom: No it wouldn't. I'd have to print screen 5000 times then put all the images together for that really long sheet music. Print screen sucks

DarkLife006: jimmy how do u make the eye dropper go away

jimmyrcom: it's in your shell tray in the taskbar. right click exit

DarkLife006: i fell retarted
lol didint see it there
thanks

llTheMightyMell: Awesome video i liked the taskbar shuffle.

jimmyrcom: does not exist. maybe when 6ghz comps become normal.

rekkolvl80: jimmy may i ask wat u do for a living?

Arley26: Hey Jimmy I want to know which browser is better Firefox or Opera?

SenoreQueso: Haha, classical Jimmy!

Anyways, what do you do for a living?

HecG: Thanks for the 12 great apps jimmy!

Jimmy is down with the rasta man!!!

yotubevid: "how sexy is that" haha

yotubevid: With eyedropper can you save the colors go over?

jimmyrcom: click ctrl+c and it copies the RGB in decimal format

VatoLocoX13: Nice these really do save time.

bobbyfish1029: how do i change the start thing

DannnyL: could have just pressed windows key + D again

jimmyrcom: boo, you miss the point. if you're actively working with several programs at the same time it's nice to have them organized.

mohammedbaboor: ROFL.. "how sexy is thaat" and "something cool like ... the flag of ethiopia" and "kinda hard to guess what it does." You're so hilarious man. Best Video yet, I think. [Favorited] + [5/5]

icm17: you should also look up to Pitaschio if you haven't already. I find it very useful

buckamoona: always on top is good for watching movies and tv :D:D

ruggeh: Nice stuff, Jimmy. :D

I'm going to get Foxit and Resource Hacker.

Kingaxel1: cool, i like the icon-changing one, i could certainly use that!

hazukisan7: "Oh ...yes I will" LOL
Great video thanks

spursj911: nice
1 question howd u get ur cursor?

LexManSubs: If you're on about the dot on it, i think thats from the screen recorder software to show when you're clicking or not to people on the video.

Alas777: i think he got it like that b/ of his sreenrecorder "CamStudio" go watch his video on it

yotubevid: using camstudio you can get that

sugarmice: i can do all those things in Mac OS X without any of those programs, its just Leopard....

jimmyrcom: My balls you can. Prove it, make a video. Oh wait, can you even screen record without buying commercial software?

clifford623: Not to get into the argument, but yes you can, they're many screen recorder programs for free.

jimmyrcom: Please fill in the blanks. Not trying to troll here just don't understand. Windows for gaming. Linux for efficiency security and programming. Mac for _______!?????????

DevinWasLikeYo: what is mac for?! i searched google, and i still cant find an answer. =o!

linux > windows. :D

WindTunnelMiroku: i thought macs were for easy interface

Arley26: Macs are powerful computers and will always be

Durken316: that is for video editing ONLY

DarkLife006: im a xp user
but its for safari
unless u are trying to downlode a program

vertigate: I think Mac is for graphics stuff. I know a few graphics designer and they all love Mac.

moggytutorials: Mac for fun

(sometimes)

SenoreQueso: I'm gonna have to go with Art.I don't own a Mac, and I do not intend to buy one, but it seems they are the most popular for art.

XtremeHardys: hahahahhahahahahaha thats funny lol he prolly cant even dl anything you listed =P

hazukisan7: "yea i made website aranged my photos , made a video , and sent out leaflets of my lost cat puggles im sooo creative on my mac mmmmm i also have a myspace cos im trendy me me me me me"

Urrgghhh I HATE Mac guyz go Away you suck!!

Shinigami37: According to the commercials, macs are for retarded people who can't figure out windows or linux and need something that "just works".
Macs=ew

crocz: Great useful little programs ;o

BrandonWilke: Nice video jimmy, Weird this is the first time im writing to you but i've watched your videos for along time now, learned alot. thanks

IsaacScharp: foxit is amazing, by far the best on the list.

warrioramin: hmm, they're quite good, but i dont like these tiny progs, besides i have vista, and i bet %70 of them dont work with mine lol.

BrandonWilke: You ever think about getting a partner to help you out?

MrQazster: great video, been using pdfcreator for a while and i still love it

junka22: Excellent programs there Jimmy. Thanks for bringing us all this stuff, love it.

IsaacScharp: Also just completed one of the offers to get fox-it pro. Don't know if its any better, but I needed to sub to NY Times for a class, and it was really cheap through offer, so make sure you check out offers for pro package, some are very easy like create e-bay account and buy one thing.

Alabama64lee: thanks, been looking for a way to keep a program always on top :).

16091975: your videos are always so interesting. keep up the good work my friend

ninjamurai: another great video, i just started using pdfcreator and its really good =)

16091975: hey Jimmy can you recommend a good program for viewing and editing photographs? preferably something that is free to download. cheers

jimmyrcom: irfanview is fast and has some simple functions. gimp is a fully featured app.

Mushy2000: How did you get your video over 10 minutes?

ardur: Nice vid as usual Jimmy. I learn alot =D

dc22227: How do i change the start text? you can't drag and drop like an icon.

w00tn3ss: You have to edit explorer.exe in the windows folder. I suggest you find a guide so you don't screw your computer up ^_^

muffinmonster15: Funniest video by far, yet still informative. Keep it up jimmy.

pimpizzle2: Taskbar Shuffle...opposite of what it does lol.

Tophillious: Haha, like the flag of Ethiopia. So random. One of the best vids you have yet.

smoshfan254: I think that you should do more videos like this. :)

jussumone: Fantastic Jimmy ! The always on top program will really be handy, and the windows resizer - I stopped your video and loaded them up right away. Thanks for sharing what you learn and think is handy ( it usually always is !)

Greatwhite75: Finally got rid of the 100+mb's of the slow ass Adobe reader. Foxit works great!

angelseeker: Very useful programs, thank you! I'll definitely be downloading some of these.

Stoam: You dont need to use resource hacker to change the icon of a program. Just right click the program, go to properties, the shortcut tab, and then click Change Icon at the bottom. Its faster and easier. :)

jimmyrcom: Only applies to shortcuts of files. Does not apply icons to all associated files either.

Zerophoenix1: 'how sexy is that'
lol
5*'s

pimpedout8888888: the File menu tools is soooo useful...thx

rockindoodcm: it's longer than 10 minuts, how did you do that

Spike1882: the more awesome you are the more time you can upload jimmy is a 1000000 on the awesome scale so naturally he gets 1000000 minutes if he wants them.

gersing: Jimmy, can you provide cool programs for mac??? thanks.

Famf9983: Macs don't have many good programs ):

At least not any free ones.

WhoblehwahV2: Nice vid man. Trees offend you, lol.

garbatronix: jimmy how do you combine videos? Let say I downloaded a video but its in 5 pieces and in flv format, how do i combine them together into one video?

jimmyrcom: convert with mediacoder (see my last video) and connect with avidemux or virtualdub

zodezambo: thanks jimbo. your tutorials really helps.

weggles: Another great video. Lots of great little things that make big differences.

Wrinkliez: Cool PDF reader is freeware and is only 655 kb. Check it out.

mulat101: Thanks for the videos jimmy I learned a lot form all of your video. Also thanks for mentioning Ethiopia, but that wasn't the flag of Ethiopia look it up on google.
~Peace~

llibra: Have you ever thought of being a teacher or prof?

ridingterry: i like that Always on Top Maker and Windows Sizer!!! thanks Jimmyrcom!!!

LeonSORTX: Thanks Jimmy for the always helpful hints!!

Chrijz: Thank, I havn't tried EyeDropper.
I like the program MediaInfo more than GSpot, because it can identify more codecs/containers.

yotubevid: dude u r an idiot. YOU crapped up your computer yourself

emblempride: good stuff there is one freeware program i think you should check out called winroll
it can do what always on top maker does plus
roll windows up, make them transparent, and minimize to the system tray and it takes up less then 500 kb of ram.

and one thing you didnt mention about taskbar shuffle, it allows you to middle click a taskbar item to close it, i use it alot.

syed1994: Cool software recommendations!

seven7years: how do you change a picture to an icon file?????

slaveoftheheart: great educational vids, jimmy - they really help me.

off topic here - i recorded a video on my logitech web cam for like 30 mins, but once i had stopped it recording and it was saving it stopped commencing the save half way through and i completely lost the video.

is there anyway to find the vid? i've used most search options via software and via windows own programs but still no luck.

vertigate: Great vid. Some useful tools. But .. can you help a subscriber out with a software for recording streaming videos? Thanks ;)

felix290492: Why not just download the streaming video with a site like vixy(dot)net or get an addon for firefox called downloadhelper

vertigate: My understanding is that streaming videos just download a small 1 kb file, that is loaded into the video player and contacts the internet for just in time playing the portions of the video, but the larger video file is never stored in cache or anywhere. So vixy might give me the 1kb file, but not the actual larger video. I just tried using vixy and it gave me an error.

doekoejohn: use audacity...
jimmyr has some videos about it.

checkmic78: thank you again, jimmy. another great vid. so simple but yet so great. you're the best

bballmaniac4444: "How sexy is that"
hahahah!

Allebaggen1: anyone got Taskbar Shuffle work on 64bit OS?

Solen17: wat is with the theme music at the end?

mrmcjrman: i have reshacker, and it is fun to mess with files

im definitely going to use file menu tools

thatuti: uhm... the "Text Mining Tool" its like the notebar program (there no diffrent is there?)

you can also use word (or the office word) and just go to the buttom and then there a tiny image go there and press "only text"
(mine is in danish so its Iam not sure about yours)

jimmyrcom: see if it works for chm, files and pdf.

thatuti: its still works, you can still take pdf files and .chm files and put it in notepad and the works/writer

jimmyrcom: -_-.... notepad can't parse chm and pdf files

thatuti: oh.... (sorry, I saw the video again and you said about "converting")
but I meant that you should copy the text and then paste it to notepad etc.
I am sorry for this disturbance.

iClatz: Jimmy i need your hellp with something.
can u put a tutorial on how to find your own WEP key.
please help me
anyways thank you

jimmyrcom: read the manual on your router/switch/hub thing. eg go to the blah's IP at 192.168.1.1 login with default, find wep settings

iClatz: i dont understand, please help
iam not the brightest, lol
i really need help

iClatz: dont understand, please help
iam not the brightest, lol
i really need help

supermanjackie: its amazing video keep going jimmy my man your the best

moebob24: I heard resource hacker screws up your PC after a bit of use...is that true?

moebob24: k...i'll trust u because any and all advice i have been given before has never failed me. But why do u people give my comment a minus 2 rating...it was a simple question...

comedicine: Wow, that's a ton of programs I haven't heard of. I'd definitely give it a try.

blahblahhi: how do you change a picture to an icon file?

SenoreQueso: Hey, great videos.

How come on your videos the middle of the video flashes at the beginning though? Is that a bug?

eneffe: I'm thinking it's for the thumbnail

SenoreQueso: Nah, that's in the middle of the video, you hardley notice it, it's one frame long. It says like top twelve so and so, time: 12:26. In the beginning I'm wondering what happened. it shows part of the Audactiy thinger.

israelwasaness: ITS FOR THE THUMBNAIL!! he's being efficient.

SenoreQueso: No it's not dude. The thumbnail picture is the middle frame of the video, In this video, it falls at 6:23 or, half of the full video, which is 12:46.

I'm talking about the first second of the video.

1983AK: EXCELLENT
*****
another great video by JIMMY

syed1994: Actually, to make the icons update, just right click and press refresh.

dovad16: Well done. These are teriffic. Thanks.

catsoutofthebaggy: I enjoy your videos. This may be a stupid question but..How does subscibing to your videos support you?

jimmyrcom: you get notified when I post more videos. The number of subs indicates how popular a channel is. I also respond to questions of subscribers on my site.

eltatertoto: in your video you said you can rename your start bar, how would i do that? i dont think you can drag your start bar, thanks, you have great vids.

issyrocks: thanks for the video.. i wonder how ur computer is.. u probably have something for everything

jeffreym131313: Good vid, i downloaded always on top maker and it works perfectly :) Thank you!

scorpio209: what shredder was that? i have one that came with a download accelerator but it takes FOREVER.....

BLACKMETALMAYO: Why do you use the windows classic theme?
Is there like... Some advantage to it?

emblempride: its more efficient and uses less resources

firealarmfreak: it takes up less ram and system resources so your computer can run a bit faster.

i do the same.

serranorichard: awesome i downloaded the "resource hacker" it works great
awesome video too

elmejormexicano1: "vst goo bar=foo" sorry dont know a lot about javascript but found this hilarious!

emblempride: it would be cool if you did a video like this for firefox addons too.

cantremember52: long time watcher of your vids, but i just found this very interesting and resourceful. keep up the good work, bud.

lnatan25: DirectX 5 lmao...

DivX 5 ;)

jimmyrcom: Lets see you make a 12 min vid without slip-ups

Ghakimx: Cool i wanted to do something like this. Jimmy i got a problem wit my PC and i was wondering if you could help. Everytime i use it it might temporarily turn to a black screen then to back to normal but all the icons will dissapear and if it was a virus, i cant find it. On top of that, my PC was suppose to be called Spongebob at the bottom left of the account log on screen but its just called computer. Any tips or help would be really helpful

Tophillious: Can anyone help me out when downloading files? Almost all files I download end up in my Temp folder. Anyway to curve it to my desktop? On Firefox, I set it to always ask me where to save files, but it doesn't seem to like me. Thanks.

williamn6133: Jimmy can you please increase the res your videos capture at. I'm not talking whole desktop here!!! Just 20 more pixels or something!!! PLEASE!

jimmyrcom: No, forces resizing. You can make your own videos though.

williamn6133: I might do that. But I think yours would be more watchable with a little more screen visible - I get motion sick when watching sometimes. YouTube enlarges it anyway!

C'mon just make one videa at 400x 450 or something. So everyone can see if it's as bad as you say it is.

jimmyrcom: You're not doing what I say to either hypocrit

williamn6133: What?! What's your problem man. I am a fan of yours! I watch all your videos, no matter what. I just want them to be better.

jimmyrcom: and I'm saying to try it yourself and see how it looks. apparently explaining why I don't isn't enough.

williamn6133: I've seen videos with a bit more res shrunk to YouTube size. It's not as clear, but it saves me motion sickness....!

jimmyrcom: My screen is 1600 x 1050. slightly increasing will do nothing. crystal clear wins of blur. Not going to change my vids to more blurry because of your discomfort when moving. Get used to it or don't watch =P'''''''

williamn6133: I am used to it. It's just annoying. I think it would benefit all your viewers. But hey, it's your channel, do as you want. P.S. Mr stubborn. =P

ForgivenForSure: Dude, that wouldn't help at all....I'm sorry to break it to you.

I've never gotten motion sick.

brijeshchauhan: Here comes the power of Ubuntu. All of these utilities comes as native functions in Ubuntu. So you better switch to Ubuntu soon

jimmyrcom: No they friggin don't. Make a video and demonstrate it. I have ubuntu. I'm sick of you damn "OMG USE LINUX". Most of you have stupid windows but are wannbes. Good programmers have linux and windows, even if just in dualboot.

brijeshchauhan: Yea, I agree, I have dualboot. And if you have ubuntu than just click and drag the tasks in taskbar...you will see what happens. Right click on any window and you will see "Always on top" check box..I am not saying that its complete replacement of windows, but its will soon replace it.

jimmyrcom: Thanks for listing the first two items. That's obviously a replacement for all 12 Items I've listed. Enough to zealously advert linux in my windows tutorial. Why don't you spend time making your own linux tutorials rather than whining about mine being about windows?

brijeshchauhan: cool jimmy, I am not offending here. I too use windows, I am just trying to share knowledge. I am not that good at Ubuntu yet, I just started exploring it. I dont want to start my own channel, but it would be great if you can also make videos for Ubuntu you. What say?

jimmyrcom: Because linux is just the OS kernel. Linux has tons of desktop variations like gnome, kde, xfce, ede. The OS update methods are different. People have to sort out dependency issues and setup "no screens found" issues just to install. example: Ubuntu doesn't even come with gcc by default. I rather show how to install cygwin and demonstrate on windows.

brijeshchauhan: ohh ok, I understand. But I really cant find good source of learning GNU/linux. If I want to get something to work, I have to scroll through hundreds of forums...thats just not efficient for me.

brijeshchauhan: I am also in Texas....where in TX?

jimmyrcom: midcities between dallas and fortworth.

brijeshchauhan: really?? I cant believe..!! I live in Arlington...You must be withing 20 miles from me. You also studying in UTA ??

brijeshchauhan: really?? I cant believe..!! I live in Arlington...You must be withing 20 miles from me. You also studying in UTA ??

SewellMark: hello jimmy im your suscribers but what do you use on your computer like vista or xp etc , it been puzzling me

SewellMark: do you ? ive never seen it like that before but thanks atleast i know now and btw r u a it technician or something or just very clever on computers?

ForgivenForSure: He made it where the XP looks more like a 2000, because it makes it run MUCH faster. I did this myself, thanks to Jimmy. It took a while of mourning over the loss of a flashy start menu, but it is well worth it for speed.

Edstathedemon: Wow cheers for the programs I find them very useful:)

talonzhar: Is may not be elligble but Is is a smart***

xpsdeset: hey that was pretty useful but is there any way to completely customize the taskbar
you were right developers hate the normal
taskbar it becomes so cluttered but we cant help it

xildavar: foxit reader is good!!! but can it be opened throught the browser?

jimmyrcom: if you set it as your default pdf reader

MagiXSkill: cool video! but can you pls tell me why this "alwaysontop"-thing doesn't work on my pc? i used the exact hotkey, but it displaied a "hot key register failed" message. could it be that my HotKeybind affects on the "Alway-On-Top-Maker"?

jimmyrcom: it means another program that is currently running on your comp has already registered that hotkey.

MagiXSkill: yes, I already thought that this is the reason...but I still don't know what programm this should be...but nonetheless: GREAT VIDEOS!

jimmyrcom: wtf are you talking about. I use azureus or the bittyrant mod if it.

sj67: Very good programs although the latest adobe reader has the creating of pdf files already built in including the print option.

KKM7: can you make a video on macros please!?

yotubevid: Hey guys get the 3.01 version!!! of eyedorpper

talonzhar: oooo new stuff to doddle with koool

ic300x: that song on the sheet music
was a song by
antonio vivaldi

jimmyrcom: was beethovens moonlight... the fast part

pontoon01: Wonderful, both informative and funny at the same time, some of these will be very useful to me indeed, thanks very much as always 

CoBrA2168: Been using FoxIt for a while now, it actually makes my computer run much faster!

goldberry2000: I have no doubt that this bunch of progies will give me many hours of enjoyment; I've actually been looking for a PDF convertor for ages. Yet another tutorial that was a joy to view. Thanks again Jimmy

rhodric: "GGGG spot, oh yes I will"

love how your voice betrays no emotions. =P

Asteao: "you can make it say foo, or something crazy"

NeoChaosDragon: is there going to be a part 2?

PCSTutorials: windows xp= less annoying shit.
a lot faster and less ram usage.
= way better then windows vista!!!

Hurricanepower: Some handy tools, thanks for sharing

halcyondaysofstatic: yet another great video
thanks a lot

trevorchannel: Why do you all ways put sublimial messaging in your videos jimmy lol

biantai888: I despise the VLC construction cone icon! It makes me want to use MPlayer every time I see it. What were they they thinking?

gamegod19: Love your videos man, keep up the ausome work =]

astralknight: very useful tools, mostly the icon changer!

anyway, I tried requesting many times and got denied when only asking "can you show how to import a game save to be read in pcsx2?" if you answer this I'd REALLY be grateful.

weyzer01: Changed my startbutton text, thanks for recommending resource hacker :)

civixier: Nice, ill try them all :D Two more useful programs that ive used for a while is winroll and allsnap, winroll shades and/or makes windows transparent, allsnap stick the windows to eachother or to the edge of the screen. Very nice and very useful.

Thanks again for the program tips :D

jimmyrcom: I think I'm someone who actually knows what they're talking about and that knows a lot more than you do XDDD. If you like shiny objects and inefficiency, you deserve it asstard!

Gyz3r: Dude do you know what your even talking about? Vista does suck... XP runs faster than Vista. It was "supposed" to be "better" than XP but it never was. It was also actually supposed to be more stable, but guess what it's not. So please get your facts sharight. Please correct me if i'm wrong. Let see what you know? mistermagicmuffins

eldwarfo: Codec checking gets me soooo hot.

That aside, nice vid - I enjoy what you do.

LutherRay: Where do you find the time???
Great info Jimmy.
Thanks.

JayDomination: Sadly, Vista is a great operating system, I personally downgraded to XP, just for better effiency I only run my system with 1 GIG of ram, so it's hard to run vista, Vista is better overall for gaming (not hacking games, you need your kernelmodule for that) but that graphix appear better, lagging me out ect, As of XP is more simple, I can just play freely lesser lag.

(Sorry if that didn't make sence, I type it up in about 8 seconds. )

jimmyrcom: google "hardocp vista vs xp". vista fails at games too vs XP. Not all games are compatible either

gasser5001: mainly because alot of the drivers for Vista are alot better then those of XP. and yea, Vista doesn't run too well on 1gig of ram. i 'have' 4 but since i only have 32bit Vista(64bit Vista/XP fail imo), it only recognizes 3gigs :/ but there are ways around that :) just wait until Vista SP1 comes out, people will be switching.

PspH3lp3R: Hey jimmyrcom.

Not to get off topic but how do you record the video and talk on your microphone?

Dskull88: Go to jimmyrcom's site on Youtube....there are tonnes of vids and I think that's covered in one of them

PCdontKnow: thanks for the info - your videos have helped me in many ways, many times.

do you have a donate button ? i'll check it out

kyos00: You are Awesome! My ex loved eyedropper, and I loved "always ontop"! I can chat and watch your videos at the same time now!

toastface5: hi JimmyRCom, I have heard that programmes like resource hacker mess up your pc... is this true? This is because I really want it, but am not sure whether to get it...

thanks

gasser5001: it all depends on what you do with it and if you know what youre doing. ive used it a bit and my comps fine. :)

toastface5: actually, what I meant is: does it contain spyware, viruses, malware etc?

jimmyrcom: That's like saying, "don't use knives!!! They mess up your hands" to a cook.

rao200: do you have your settings on low or do u have windows 2000 or 98?

thenonamedloser: why can't i down load File Menu Tools, i go to the site and go through all of the steps and get the pop-up asking to save fil, i click save file but nothing happens. Help please. Also awesome video, and poor trees. (p.s. I'm using Firefox)

thenonamedloser: When i click the save file the downloader doesn't even open. The only thing that happens is that the save file windows closes and my error consoles has like 20 errors

jimmyrcom: error console? in firefox? Error console shouldn't even be automatically appearing in FF. you should reinstall it or something.

siyar420420: u need to change ur theme dude //

keinzo: Cheers Bud... I have ResHacker and a couple of similar other ones, but I'll definitely be check ing out a number of the other ones too, WinGrep especially

ThaGangsta619: Okay, I got a new question:
How can you change the pitch of the vocals leaving the beat the same, but just raising or lowering the pitch of the vocals?

For example, the chipmunk version of Crank Dat.

jimmyrcom: audacity has a change pitch filter. so does goldwave

ThaGangsta619: I know, but I mean like changing the pitch of the VOICES and not the SONG.

jimmyrcom: lmao, unless you write a filter that isolates the frequencies you're SOL. think of 192khz as 192,000 numbers from 0-255 per second to indicate waveforms. There's no such thing as "voice channel" "drums channel" etc

Kirioger: ha ha trees sucks!

Good video and pretty useful stuff! reshacker looks really fun to mess around with! Thanks for this

rubysp: thank you so much for these programs!! they really save my life. especially windows grep which i had to literally wade through over 2000 files to find one and now, instantly!! you are magic!! keep it up

syed1994: Eyedropper's website is not dead...

jimmyrcom: yes it is -_-. I linked to archive dotorg

siyar420420: this shit just waisting of ur time and waisting of space in computer

jimmyrcom: You spelled "wasting" wrong dumbass. This comment from a retard that has a video called "download spyware free". Spyware is not an abbreviation of a program name asstard. Spyware is bad.

jimmyrcom: I would insult you but you're already resonating stupidity. Everyone will be shaking their head thinking "what donkey's ass was that shit born out of" after reading your ignorant ass comment.

Uber1337Ninja: What have you ever done to help any of us? Atleast Jimmy tries to help, and frankly. He does a great job! Go crawl back into that donkey's ass and say hi to everyone...

Retard, sigh.

axxohacker: poro freak^ do not listen jimmy (although spyware plays alot of square eyed people^^)

Logitection: At leased he can spell things properly

DeeJayRoyalT: This from a guy who has WCW, Mysterio, Naughty Nikki and Butt Workout w/Kim Strother saved to his FAVORITES...HaHaHa!! siyar420420 you are such a LOSER!

killervacuum: How much shit do you have open at once?!

jimmyrcom: taskbar shuffle and alwaysontop maker are the only ones I run on startup.

jack2452: WOW man now your getting more view(which i am happy for) and more HATERS(WTF is up with that)

Quebecalis: Nice man! I will surely download 4 of the list make soem mroe I appreciated this!

yotubevid: Wait wait....BREAKING NEWS the "jimmyrcom" virus has broken out! infecting every computer in the world and making them much better! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES

KingPiccolo001: thanks for the help, I know a site which could probably use Windows Sizer

oeyeballs: lol.. crappy javascript that dont work lol..

Kraftik611: wow jimmy your really obsessed with the word foo lol.

ridingterry: after i saw your comment i was curious too. so i looked it up on wikipedia. look up foo. it makes sense.

or maybe jimmyrcom likes the foo fighters! :]

Kraftik611: or maybe hes a big fan of Mr.T

hooty454: if you have windows xp then why do you have it look like its shitty windows 98

hooty454: how would it make it run faster its the same operating system just with shittier graphics

nyxie23: Running Windows Classic makes it run faster because there are less graphics to slow it down.

hooty454: that doesn't make sense at all there are still graphics there, they just look really shitty it doesn't matter if there what type of graphics you have just that windows 98 looks like shit and xp doesn't.

nyxie23: It's not just what the graphics look like. It's stuff like Animation, effects, too many colors, shadows, sounds. It's all very bulky and it DOES slow down the computer. It's all code that takes the computer longer to use. Windows Classic takes the bulk away. And you can make Windows Classic look good. He just uses a very plain one. You can add color to it and make it attractive.

hooty454: yes but windows 98 graphics are going to slow your computer down too, so then why would you want to use shitty graphics and not good ones because there both going to slow your computer down the same

matroldan: Because if he has Xp and it looks like windows 98 is makes your computer a little faster.(Response to
hooty454)

nyxie23: Do you know a program like Always On Top that works with Windows Vista?

emblempride: try a program call winroll its what i use and i have vista it can make windows always on top and a couple of other things plus use very little ram.

MarihDimitri: Really cool.i'll have to check those out. :)

tahlea: Really handy - thanks for this!

H34DB4N91NM0NK3Y: wtf is with u and foo
lol

CalamusNomen: You should check out HJSplit. It's a great freeware program used for splitting large files into smaller parts. I use it all the time for stuff like email attachments or rapidshare uploads where the files size is to large to be sent at once.

jimmyrcom: better to use winrar or 7zip. Then the pieces will also be compressed.

chunk2609: Thanks jimmy for all your vids..GodBless!

cyncmaster150: Hey Jimmy do you know about these programs?
ATF-Cleaner = Cleans things!
AudioShell 1.3.5 = Edit music tags directly in explorer
Deletedr = Deletes things!
JkDefrag = Excellent defragmenter
Pitaschio 2.22
Save2Pc = Youtube, Google Vid, etc downloader!
Yodm3d = Multiple desktops

nimble042: Thanks Jimmy
Reading this stuff in books is so dry (rosettastone).
Watching you write code is like understanding the spoken language.

koose14: hey dude great videos, but i definitly think you should have mentioned keybreeze, it saves a lot of time. anyways 5/5

jimmyrcom: Make a video showing how linux can do all the stuff my these programs did. Yeah, didn't think so. Why don't you try linux you retard? I hate you "JUST GET LINUX" people, most all of you don't even have it.

TheAnimeMangaOtaku: jimmy my man I can feel your pain, but this is the world of the Internet, a place where you can email someone that lives in AUS. an Jpeg of an middle finger and get away with it.
also people on the web think they grow Balls cause they appear anonymous on the Internet, and cause there REAL Liefs are sorry they feel like Gods over the Web. (Cont...

TheAnimeMangaOtaku: Pt. 2 ) There are those who act like Pricks just for the fun of it just to read others reactions..if any.I just thought to bring that into the open so your not wasting you finger/thumb energy on re tarts, and on something more efficient, like writing your Blog, or what ever.
VERY USEFUL programs I never heard of. I'm surely going to download 2 of the programs that you mentioned in the video now.
your account is much more interesting than reading some Huge 4000 Page book on computers. :P Peace

jimmyrcom: I don't mind the trolls that are just being trolls. What annoys me is the genuinely stupid people that act like they know anything in computers when they're actually pretty damn clueless.

t0rex: Is this guy high ? None of his programs are of any use!

jimmyrcom: That's because you're useless and that just can't be helped, no matter what tools I offer you.

minicoz2: you just dont know how to use them

pricet6: Yur vids have helped me to speed my computer up loooodss! thanx (:

bucetapussy: Jimmy don't care about comments of feeble-minded just like the one right above. Your job is great, I enjoy it a lot, I've learned a lot of things you said and putted them in practice.
Ps: I know the war is lost, 99% of the users of internet end it's context is crap, but thanks god there's persons like you that provides us good entretainement
Ps from ps: THANK YOU

Diablo6293: I have allways had problems with those pesky trees. lol
great vid I am planning on using most of these

22CNR91: the ending was sooo cool with the noises made obv by jimmy himself lol

Heli0doros: "Gspot.. ohh yes i will"
LMAO STILL LAUGHING!

H34DB4N91NM0NK3Y: awesome!!!
luv the file menu tools, and always on top maker,

u should do 1 on ur favorite RSS feeds,
that would be kewl

aribenzane: Solutions to problems that don't exist on the Mac...

aribenzane: It's pointless. Changing program resources and icons? You could do that in System 7 (1991). Re-arrange taskbar/dock items? 2000. Fast PDF reading? Built-in to the OS since 2000. Grep? Spotlight. Focus tuning? Expose. I could go on and on.

jimmyrcom: Resource hacker isn't just changing the icon, is replacing the icon inside the binary file. fail. Spotlight does not support regular expressions and will not give you the line number. fail. rearrange yes, pdf yes. Continue =P.

aribenzane: Lookup the Mac program 'ResEdit'. It's been around for 20 years and could do exactly the same thing (and you didn't have to wait for the changes to show up). You could even change menu shortcuts and anything else saved as a resource. I concede that some of these (grep) will you more options (RegEp), but the vast majority of people will never need them. Still anything's better than the XP's appalling search!

jimmyrcom: Whatever. I'll give you that you're right on resedit too, I hadn't heard of it. Still annoying as crap having people "LINUX HAS ALL THESE BUILIN", "MAC HAS ALL THESE BUILTIN". It doesn't. It may have like 30% of the stuff I talked about, but sure as hell not all of it.

Rebd0mine: what does it matter how old the stuff is.. ALOT of people havent heard about this.. well i knew some of these tools but not all...

thanks jimmy

jimmyrcom: btw, windows also has a (crappy) internal file search, and you can easy change the icon of any shortcut by editing it's properties.

lTherickl: Hey Jimmy, what video player you use, kinda sick of windows media player

sanec: he uses vlc player, but u should also try sub edit player or allplayer (opens everything)

xlynx9: "doesn't lose focus" is incorrect. It does lose focus, but keeps the same z-order.

DeaDZdotcom: Nice videos jimmy. ive subsribed on lots of my accounts, Can you tell me how to get that thing above your name that says see more video tutorials and on your channel pls?

jimmyrcom: youtube invited me to be a youtube partner which lets me do that.

DeaDZdotcom: Wow, Thanks for the speedy response. I guess ill have to go find 20,000 subscribers =D

jurrasicfive: i like the way you say google XD .

KillaKanga: lol the flag of ethiopia was so random

kronhjort: windows key + D also restores the windows so you dont need taskbarshuffle...

Rebd0mine: you completely missed the point.. fool

issyrocks: i dowloaded resource hacker and always ontop maker. its great for copying codes without having to switch.

Skyliner223: Skyliner223 Sucks!!! Jimmy you ROCK man!!!!

romanoskar: Well, you're getting closer and closer to the functionality that the average linux distribution has by default!

jimmyrcom: again, you fail. You should really try linux before zealously advertising it in one of my windows tutorials. Make a video or quit trolling.

lovejpyamapi: jimmy, do you know how to create own website like ebay? e-business?

romanoskar: Trollin?
Sorry, I didn't know that that comes up that often. I run linux for almost 10 years now... So I guess that counts as "having tried it myself"

jimmyrcom: 10 years of fail. Make a video or quit trolling. I've had linux for just as long and it's not a complete replacement for all the things I mention in the video.

romanoskar: You need to calm down... I appreciate your videos. I don't claim that linux is a complete replacement. I do use windows professionally, so I appreciate your videos. But for what I do at home - windows is not and has never been a complete replacement for linux!

I am going to make a video. I'll have to get a microphone, and figure this screencapture thing out though, but It will be posted till Sunday, for good or bad.
Stop calling me a troll, this is ridiculous.

jimmyrcom: People are always calling out "GET LINUX" or "GET MAC" every windows video. I consider it unnecessary trolling. It says windows in the title so you get what you expect. I didn't say windows is a complete replacement for linux, you said linux can do EVERYTHING I talked about in the video. all I say is, prove it or don't say it.

whoaliketrees: your video's are great dude.full of neat programs and ideas..

:D

kudos

MikeCamel: i love the resource hacker thing and foxit, def will d.l em. thanks man. keep the vids comin. im a huge fan.

ujesse1103: i cant get foxit reeder to be my default acrobat keeps opeing the stuff how can i change that?

Wierdplaceflms: Check the "have foxit be your default pda opener" box when you install it.

Zaijen4: Thanks for sharing these useful tools!!

jedixo: ur computer if full of crap

JesusismyShepherd: When I try to replace the VLC Player's icon, it says, "Out of System Resources."

kernelspy: You rock dude. Are you a programmer or something? MIT grad I think?

catachip: It looks like you're using Windows 95. I switched to OS X about 4 year ago and have forgotten how but ugly it looks. I do appreciate your effort and work on these videos though. They're great.

rapmaster243: he not using win 95, he use win XP with "Windows Classical" style

pmcd123: he is using windows xp but he made his system properties performance options set to best performance instead of shiny windows xp

cyberwurst: if i wan't to impress my friends. i look one of your videos

WoWRSVids: thxs im downloading the top makeing on my school mac it a pain in the reaz for you said

rampagetv: with reshacker, you don't have to restart your pc to vieuw the new icon, just rightclik and refresh.
nice vid man!

jimmyrcom: that will not refresh icon cache. you can refresh icon cache in tweakui

rampagetv: i would believe you, but it works fine for me...
just refresh...

jumpmansbro: you like the phrase "foo" a lot don't you?

manonfirex42: Does anyone know how exactly to open the resource hacker to the point where u can just drag the item in and change its icon?

Excelryu: Thank you for your tutorials Jimmy. They have been extremely helpful. All my most important programs were recomended by you. I use feed reader to stay up to date with all my favorite sites. Foxit was my answer to the slow adobe reader. HTTRack finally allowed me to take with my python tutorials and other stuff that was on websites. Well I'm using half the programs you revealed here. They have all been helpful. Thank you.

Bloo216: 6.22 >.>

Thanks for all your help :D

phaneth: nice. well done. learn from your vid alot, man.thx for sharing

Colex08: Thanx and really helpful, but could u make it fullscreen and zoom whenever needed. Its kind of confusing when u zoom all the time. One more, could u simplify ur language? Thanks again=)

WilliamBonneau: And I thought I was the only person who kept the flag of Ethepia on my desktop randomly.
But I like this bvideo, however you should make a torent for evryone whos to lazy to go download these one by one :)

WilliamBonneau: And I thought I was the only person who kept the flag of Ethepia on my desktop randomly.
But I like this bvideo, however you should make a torent for evryone whos to lazy to go download these one by one :)

jimmyrcom: I did. I put it on mininova. I didn't include the bigger ones though. search 12 tiny freeware

mikepalomino: Great video Jimmy. Keep up the good work!

Incidentally, you made me lol. I too hate the VLC cone and just recently changed it. Stardock's Object Desktop allows you to change the icon for an application without having to resource hack it. =]

freeepeace: thanks for another great tutorial Jimmy. so much info. very useful.

DKsnorkey: i use this on my gcse it coursework to test my website thanks alot jimmy.

yongmac03: ei jimmy i am one of your million fans.....I just want you to know that i am promoting your sites here in philippines...ok...god blesss.. your really good when it comes to youtube......

k1llak4y: Sweet, software like this is overlooked now days...so its great to see some of it :).

And yes, the VLC file icon is retarded. haha.

WednesdayLaw: I'm a CG artist and I have to say the Always On Top and Eyedropper programs are awesome.

quantumforce1: I am using Vista x64 SP1 (very stable nowadays) .. anyway, the Taskbar Shuffle no workie .. any ideas/other suggestions?
