jimmyrcom: Meh, all my videos have my link.
BUDOKAI1: On the <hr code is it possible to use the color codes instead of the whole "color" thing?
jimmyrcom: Yeah, I don't talk about rgb because I think it would get people off track. Hex confuses most people.
sora0203: Awsome! Im a big fan of your videos. i pretty much watched every single one, and now i know alot of stuff i didnt know before. Thx for making vids=) 5/5
lbrtdy: wow! so u finally figured out how to upload more than 10min of it? btw how DO you upload more than 10 mins of vid?

KasukoKun: Nice tutorial for beginners =]
MarzonAwesome: It just makes things a lot easier, thanks a ton.
KashEzy: There is also this program called Dreamweaver. I believe Macro Media makes it, but I could be wrong. It's basically a program that allows you to make websites with out just coding everything yourself. I learned how to make websites both ways in college. But it's been awhile, thanks for the reminder and tips on coding.
serranorichard: wow this video is awesome
thanx jimmy
Zxuar: That was one of the best tutorials!
hackerdude1: Not bad but technically you cant post it on the web. still love your vid's thought 5/5
Luther92: Why can't I reply to you (hackerdude1)? It keeps putting the comments at the top, not replied!
sticksquash: It says you did reply, go look again. It puts new comments at the top too.
Luther92: Yeah now it worked...but originally it just posted the comments at the top, as if I'd clicked post text comment, and nothing underneath the original comment.
Anyway, I refreshed, didn't work, but at least now it did.
ZachFoppe15: Holy Crap, how did you get your video to go 40 minutes, i thought there was a 10 minute limit. lol
israelwasaness: because he's jimmyr and can do whatever he wants,he currently owns youtube.
corebore13: no he doesnt own youtube, he is just a partner he gets money whenever we watch any of his vids
fadelio22: I know i didint see all of it, its gay
zheyuzhu: how do U get Ur vid to go that long?
message me plz dont reply
MrSedarati: great vid mate really do appreciate it
esetnod32: hey, thanks for the video, i been wanting to learn this
gunotsoldier50: will have to watch this again not in the middle of the night
zodezambo: at last jimmy you made one! tnx man.
slennzer: hey jimmy, the 1st html editor i used was dreamweaver. its such a straight forward software to use and saves me in having to learn or type in html codes. its a lazy mans way of actually creating basic html sites. but the bad thing is, people then become to dependent on it. i had no idea what these codes meant or what effect they have on a html page. so i just wanted to say a personal thanks for the tutorial. thank you for taking the time and effort in putting this vid up. :)
Jerminater11: How do you get the recorder to move along the window to follow the cursor?
tanjentsdotcom: Jimmy usesCamStudio for screen catpture and it has that option Jerminater11.
caca124: Damn so long! But good!! Great tut and thanks.
tanjentsdotcom: Jimmy:
Just. WOW. Great job!!
I was surprised/glad that you included a quick tables tutorial. CSS gurus feel they are obsolete, but I & many others still use them for layout & positioning.
Bravo!
After 7 yrs & never having used a page editor I gained further CSS clarification from this tutorial.
I loved how you rounded out the tutorial by viewing page source! Nice touch & a great learning resource.
You also have an awesome list of sites. I have loved CSS Cheat Sheet long time!
(grin)
Mushy2000: Watched the whole thing I really appreciate it, Can't wait to start this mysdelf
SlateWolf: Thanks jimmy. This is one hell of a long video.
jeztac3: Great tutorial dude, thanks a lot.
thatuti: ok now this is OFFENCELY 100% BEST tutoiral EVER IN THIS WORLD!!!
you are now the guro master tutorial.
I have learnt MANY MANY things from you now and now I will thank you so much for using your importent time to make a tutorial for us.
newbs.
thanks a lot again.
LONG LIVE JIMMY!
linckbur: thanks you are my hero jimmyrcom and please if you cloud teach us how to upoad videos longer then 11 min on youtube i know you are a youtube partner so you can do it but cen you find some ilegel way
thanks ahed
hgpot: he is not a partner with YouTUBE, OR IS HE???
LuigiBrotha: *Grabs runescapePKing's popcorn* Hey ... WHAT THE HELL IS THAT HOLE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BUCKET !
hgpot: o, ya, the hole....it goes to my mouth...
SantaClaus3000: Awesome!! but why do you use "foo" as an example for most of your tutorials? any reason? why not "joo" or "woo"?
Eels1989: It's just a common programming term. It doesn't mean anything. You can see more info on Wikipedia.
SantaClaus3000: Wow, I had no idea about that. Being a Computer Science student myself I am a bit ashamed (I am in my first year though)
:)
Deeno888: Jimmy You do great videos but if I have to listen to that bloody intro one more time "@#$%".
Many You-Tubers run these repetitive Nag screen at the beginning of their Videos, promoting there sites. It's enough to make you want to un-subscribe. I hope it will become as Naff as those hundreds of Animated gif's which used to pepper peoples web pages, or an MS Front Page Template.
Please get to the point and be a little more creative with your site ads.
Best wishes by the way ;)
Deeno
IIwAnDII: yah!! so many people have this long ass intros..and when comment bout their intros...whoop..there goes everybody giving you the retarded thumbs down..
RunescapePKing: Thanks alot! Ive made a little website with all the stuff you teached, its not lookin great, because the positions are all messed up... anyway... thanks alot
Dougien: shit jimmy that is long! lol, ill favourite and watch it later
iwurzel: Hey Jimmy,
Another great tutorial, I always wanted to get html and css,
thanks to this, it's been made a lot clearer...
five stars.
petez: Lot of work and dedication. Good job.
sumfortyone: 39 mins eh?..
what if someone only had 38 minutes left to live?
jimmyrcom: then they will probably die in approximately less than one hour. probably.
Shinigami37: Then they'll have to make their site really really fast.
Meddlmoe: hi jimmy
thanks for that tutorial
i knew some html and php but i learned it more than 6 years ago a i was not familiar with the very comfortable div tag.
mfg moe
RustyShacklefordx222: How did you make a video 39 minutes long? I thought youtube got all strickt only having videos be 10 minutes long.
streetsmartdude: same question here?!
going to check out the rules now!!!!1
hitman555888: I'm taking note of everything so that I can start making my own website. And also I'm using your batch file tutorials to make many help batch files to make my life easy, I even made a command prompt video to spread the knowledge around youtube. Good video and keep on fragging trucks. And I like his intro it's creative.
Sistem215: Great...you are the best!Thanks
Mich1337: ohmygod ohmygod oh my god can u be quicker in explaining? ITS TOO FRIckin LONG
RustyShacklefordx222: How did you make a video 39 minutes long? I thought youtube got all strickt only having videos be 10 minutes long.
felix290492: He is a youtube partner. Awesome video as always Jimmy
moggytutorials: you can also upload further than 10 mins if your a director methinks
streetsmartdude: SHUT UP!!!!!!
If jimmyr goes any faster al of you will be complaining about him going way too fast!!!!!!!
AND BE HAPPY THAT HE'S ACTUALLY TAKING A LOT OF TIME TO MAKE VIDEOS JUST FOR US!!
STOP COMPLAINING AND TRY TO LEARN SOMETHING INSTEAD.
pontoon01: hahaha you tit, thats impossible
rekkolvl80: OMG THANKS MAN! now i can trow away this damn "building a web site for dummies" books :D
streetsmartdude: i finally found out how he uploaded the file.
He used the youtube uploader.Using it u can upload 1GB max videos which are longer than the ones uploaded using the single file uploader(which can only upload up to 100mb and 10min long videos).Welcome for the info ;)
Alxjeffs: you can use google to create a site then view the source then publish it on you own domain thats what i do
davidemil5: very intresting i know php but never knew you could preveiw so easy thanks
Mosberk: awesome..........THANK YOU so much!!!
MarkTeePee: Oh wow brilliant video. I think I may give making a site ago. If I use photoshopped images will I have to do something to them to make them visible on the page, or will that image only be visible when my PC is on?
jimmyrcom: upload the images too and they'll be on the web.
ntfc30: Thanks for the CSS explanation and links.
joeboi85: yeah i learned this in BIMM, but u thought me some extra stuff..thanks bro
illusion6006: Wow... Just yesterday I was looking into HTML and CSS for the first time, and now you post a vid on it. Niceee... and Thanks!
Kingaxel1: Holy, thats a long tutorial, too complicated for me! lol, but if i ever have to learn html or css I'll know were to go!!
bigdawgstuart: this a lot better than the books that they sell. thanks jimmy
fitzerg: Is there any software or website so that instead of memorizing these text commands, just select a template, drag and drop, select the color and layout way to build?
jimmyrcom: there's gillions, if not infinitillions of html editors out there. That's completely missing the point though.
fitzerg: ok thanks. How about you post a review of such editors or something, that would help us tremendously.
jimmyrcom: Bah, whatever you're comfortable with. I've grown used to notetab. jedit isn't bad. I don't like editors like frontpage or dreamweaver. I like text editors
MonoKulen: 30% who watched it has put your video as a favourite. Great job, man!
bachura: Thanks for taking the time Jimmy. I will surely use this information.
42ndsheep: Thanks a ton for taking the time and effort to plan/create this.
nmcat1: sure u fianly make a vid like this and i already have a website got damnit
maxmydog25: How do you post a video over 10 minutes long?
moggytutorials: you have to be a youtube director, guru etc rather than just a normal youtuber.
manoj0072006: probably big in leanth all the time
jerommeke69: Wow awesome!
That's a very nice tutorial!!
Cyclonebg: You just touched the surface there but it did serve the purpose you were aiming for. I knew just a few tags and used them to work my way through some pages' source. Now my library is substantially increased, I might take some time and experiment with it. Good tutorial, long but full of information.
redzepeda: Can anyone help answer this for me? Say you wanted to make a website like this, but how do you put multiple pages in the html? I know how to link to other sites, but not to other sections of my website.
hgpot: each HTML file is a page, make another html file for another page, and link to it in the first page. you can have as many pages you want, but i just put all of my content on one page, seeing as it is hosted online. (Zoomshare)
1983AK: another EXCELLENT tutorial!
*****
Thank you JIMMY
AK963: what the hell is jimmy's obsesstion with the word "Foo" - if it is even a word.
rmenga: "foo" and "bar" are used often by programmers as basic values when showing things by example. If you looked up the PHP example for preg_replace on the PHP net web site you'll see 'foo' being used more or less like it is here.
bashre81: great jimmyR, you are simply great tanks a lot and good work
narutofan625boy: yo sweetest vid ever this is so goin help me next year in my webpage class
ModHacker: that is one long ass video. lol
ltsAboutJesus: i was there til the end too. you are becoming a powerhouse in computer tutorials. your videos will surely live on for years to come, as you have taken the time to get a head start on others in this field. very useful. i have more technical questions though..
ltsAboutJesus: will you show how to do this and have people enter information, so it can be easily retrieved at my discretion. I want to have a box that people can enter information and it will be stored live for me? please explain in a part two
DarkGamer101: you defiantly have to do more of these... these kick ass
JuanBuena: its long but who the heck cares you rock!!!
NinkaPanda: OMFG I LOVE YOU!!
MARRY ME JIMMYR!!
ajjr1228: Love it, but i didnt learn anything. do a PHP and C++ one =]
thinkingchaos: I learned most of this in one of my classes. You did a better job of teaching it though. Your very relaxed and very explanatory. Yeps rating and commenting does help :). Already subscribed though. Have a nice day
Tophillious: Most of the things that you tought I just picked up just from being on the internet for so (too) long. But I learned some things I hadn't known about before, so thanks for a kickass tutorial.
feloriene: Excellent vid! Those 39mins just flew by! Someone commented already, I'd love one covering PHP too. Thanks so much for this :).
ic300x: dude that was total genious
im serious!!
proff1999: Thanks Jimbo. Great knowledge.
justmom66: Absolutely love your tutorials you make so much easier to understand. Thank you so much for your time and sharing. Looking forward to many more of your videos =]
xxlucky09xx: I learned alot of basic html because of myspace...lol.
dfrusdn: Thanks Jimmy this was what I just needed! 5/5
DrPersonman: hay umm i have been wondering is it foo like Mr. T says or something els??? great videos they have helped me a lot!!!!!!!!!
KrayGuru: Sweet that now means i can start to edit myspace profile and understand it
streetsmartdude: jimmyr was your previous account jimmyr classic?
i'm a big fan
KingNauz: great tutorial, too bad something like this didn't exist when i taught myself html <: *****
beatrixsnapefan: great tutorial jimmy :D
now i can create blog templates and all that stuff thanks to you :)´
yay! xD
mikeb4894: you are such a legend!
Im just about to make myself a homepage :)...
doc800: how do you get the video to fill the screen? what size is it?
adopsydelic: you guys are just lazy.. google for tutorial.. btw: jimmyrcom: nice tutorial.. i learned some more today :D i always had some problem with CSS ^^
Sequoya: Great tutorial thanks very much. I've been trying to figure out a way to widen my sidebar in blogger so I can fit a music player comfortably. I played around with the html, but I never found the correct code. I'd appreciate any tips you may have. Thanks so much for taking the mystery out of computer skills and helping out those of us who prefer to DIY!
Weirdosport: I also stands for cascading style sheet..
Does this look like counterstrike to you?
lamaz1928: wow great tut. thanks a bunch m8 :D
JPProductionsStudio: i was wondering, can you make the background an image? and is that how websites like youtube make their layouts?
jimmyrcom: use CSS's "background-image", google it for examples of use. There's also "background-repeat" you can use along with it.
JPProductionsStudio: alright thanks alot! i will subscribe:) i've been wanting to learn this for SOO long, thanks dude!
Weirdosport: When talking about the tables you mentioned you could use your own image as a border. Do you just make something really simple and the css will automatically stretch it? Sort of treating it like the original border..
JPProductionsStudio: one more question, what size is a normal website background? and will smaller images stretch?
KhanZazai: i wish they had seven stars rating in youtube.
ZloolS: You don't have a doctype :O.
NOT VALID (kidding :P).
jimmyrcom: google doesn't either. the description does anyway.
ZloolS: :( Touché (wrong accent?)
Anywho, nice tutorial.
Good for beginners.
LovefromUSSR: why'd you go back to the easy stuff? I thought you were gonna stick to the useful developer stuff... But I guess this is useful for anyone who still needs to learn it.
jimmyrcom: Top requested tutorial on my page with 600 votes.
jimmyrcom: Hacking? You need to learn how to spell! FAIL!
w00tn3ss: itsfakebytheway, I believe you have just been owned,
Shinigami37: Is this some kind of bad joke?
joeninja26: 5 star but i need some help on images... no matter what file type i use(.gif,.png,.gif,etc...) all it does is put the box size and put a red x in in place of the picture! how do i fix this problem?
jimmyrcom: put the image in the same dir as the html you're editing.
joeninja26: i tried but apparently i don't know what a directory is. plz elaborate
cosmoboy7: Could you tell me the spot where you can enter your website with the enternet because mine says
"file://c:/and other stuff sorry if i making you angry
jimmyrcom: I don't understand your question. Elaborate. You're trying to link to your site? add an image from a website? .. ?
cosmoboy7: making a html code like google(dot)com
jimmyrcom: you have to add the h.ttp part, otherwise it tries to find whatever you typed as a local file
crazydude20062007: you have to put the files into a domain/webhost on the internet. jimmy has listed some free webhosts on the description of the video.
greenfrog6: I feel really dumb right now, but when I tried making a backround colour, for some reason nothing happened, the screen stayed blank. I triple checked that I did everything right, but it still didnt work.
jimmyrcom: paste some of the code you typed
DrQuillo: @greenfrog6
Did you spell it colour?
HTML is standardized in American English, I think. Type it color, not colour.
onemancapacity1: Thanks for accepting my request jimmy.
GREAT TUTORIAL!
sorry for not putting it under my youtube user name
StJimmyPyro: Thanks for the CSS, I've been wanting to learn the basics for a while.
comedicine: Great video. I used to go read websites all the time a while ago but I lost interest in the last few years. I probably forgot how to do a lot of stuff but now I feel like working on a site again after watching.
thinkstrait: lol, it ain't, it's just a language that you need to learn how to speak if u want to live in the internet
Weirdosport: I don't know if it's just me, but I wanna burn this guy =)
If you don't like HTML don't spend 40 minutes watching it.. your own problem
thinkstrait: wow can you get anything but down thumbs??, man u suck
gcmaster2000: The html help is nice but nothing new. Make a video on how you handle server trafic and bandwith.
UnrealGTAS: 39 minutes long. Ill watch it if I get time. HTML isn't hard but it will be good to learn a bit of CSS.
Thanks.
tysonxguitar: Thanks so much for making CSS Simple =D
PenguinRapPhysco: This is good, I used W3Schools to learn what I know of CSS and HTML (XHTML) But this shown me some things i didn't know.
NicolauDosSantos: I am impressed! Thanks a tone!
maxmydog25: It's not working for me. I did what the video said but its showing the text of the html. What can I be doing wrong?
tydye8: when you saved it did you you change it to all files and save it .html
joeninja26: how do you put an image file in the same directory as the htmlfile. i need a definition of directory as well. at least the internet lingo definition
jimmyrcom: just type the file name. You can also begin with...
"./" current dir
"../" one level up (stackable ../../../)
"/" root/first level dir
rainoofblood: wow this looks pretty hard with all those tags thank god there is dreamweaver i find that more user friendly. thank you for the video got to see how html and css is used to make website.
Seifer007: this is awesome jimmy thanks for the effort!
jsvitak: Awesome video, thanks Jimmy!
Keep em comming :D
5/5
youngfresh: @ thinkstrait ,man shut up u wally ass
vampirememe: =O fav'd thank you this was really informative and helpfull =]
FightNightLegend: I got Dreamweaver as a gift beacause a family memeber seen my awesome photoshopped myspaces...So here i am with this program I can't build a website...I had no idea what a dreamweaver was. I guess this is the start of my jouney!
FightNightLegend: Yea dude it's a webstime maker man google it bro!
Zepher130: does anyone know how to embed audio like mp3?
jimmyrcom: google "embed html tag"
MICAvampire: I freaking love you!
We learned this in school and i've always wanted to make one at home but I forgot how!
Your awesome to take time to do this!
tom767543: hey youre videos are really good and helpful keep it up
3L1mn8R: do you have a video on how to make your videos so long? i'm sorry if you do and i look like an idiot but i want to know how to do that
weedfacebg15: this is good but i cant memorize all that
jimmyrcom: you're not supposed to. Practice it by making pages. It's not important you remember the exact code, but that you've done it before and know where to find it.
watonearth78: jimmy... i was wonderin,., how to use html to make an animated site intro
jimmyrcom: you can't. but you can make something in flash then embed flash. google embed flash. flash costs money though
FightNightLegend: Hey Jimmy man thanx again i'm seriously study this and will commit it to mem if need be. I can't stand it when people i know give me quotes like $500 bucks(Been getting that a lot) for a silly website. I'll do it myself Jim you know? HAve a great new year keep up the good work!
smoshfan11: you could make millions of $
your awesome
Gispero: It might have been a good idea to explain to people what goes on in the background when a HTML page is made using a web page editor. A 30 minute tutorial is a lot to take in if you are new to HTML. As set of five minutes tutorial might appear more digestible.
jimmyrcom: watch 5 minutes today and 5 min tomorrow. quit making excuses. go to barnes and nobles and buy a learn html in 24 hours and learn css in 24 hours. 30minutes of time is nothing.
Gispero: I will decline your suggestion to buy a HTML tutorial, I'm sure my knowledge of website construction is not as in-depth as yours however I can just about find my way around a HTML editor.
Someone new to HTML is more likely to be more receptive of the idea of viewing a 5 minute video as opposed to a video lasting 30 minutes.
It's apparent that have difficulties giving credence to differing opinions therefore I will not irritate further by commenting on your videos.
jimmyrcom: I was being sarcastic. The books that advertise learn html in 24 hours advertise it as a super fast timeframe to learn it. Here you have to spend only 30min. It's not a rather arrogant response, it's rather arrogant to whine about a long tutorial when you know you can go watch the first 5 min or download and watch it in pieces. I guess you're part of the MTV generation that's wants to do everything important during comerical breaks.
Gispero: I expressed my opinion, I did not claim that my assessment of your efforts to be fact.
Learning things in short segments is more effective than attempting to digest a lot of information in one go.
This method of learning served me well when I learned to use flash.
It's curious that you accuse someone of whining when they expressing their personal opinion.
I have no doubt that your opinion is more important than mine however I was merely giving feed back as you requested.
Gispero: That's rather an arrogant response; my intention was not to offend to give back as you have request in some of your videos.
It is my opinion that; 30 minutes is too long for most people to be introduced to HTML for the first tome.
lakercoolman: I would have to disagree for begginers into html etc like myself i dont see why long is worse for someone who is learning the longer the better and how its presented and well taught just made it better 30 min may be longr than usual but it nothing compared to the knowledge learned GREAT JOB Jimmyr
Kidguru/Lakercoolman
Gispero: Jimmy I appreciate your videos because they well presented any free of unnecessary jargon. I believe this video was too long if it is focused on introducing people to HTML for the first time, people that are already familiar with HTML will get a lot from it.
SilentFilms26101: great helpful vid; awsome job!
redsteal92: Awesome Tutorial :D
Keep up the good work!
Gispero: You seem to be making several assumptions about who I am.
I learned HTML in the mid nineties, I found that focusing on accomplishing a particular task help me better than learning several tags in one gone.
It is definitely possible to watch your tutorial in 5 minute segments however most people will not do this.
jimmyrcom: I didn't make any assumptions about who you are, I'm just bored of people whining that the tutorial is long. Again, they can just watch the first 5 minutes, or download it and watch it in pieces. "Most people won't do that". Who cares, am I supposed to pamper people into learning it at max laziness? If they want to learn it they can organize to whatever method of learning fits them best. Slitting the vid into 8 pieces is fail.
Senseij14: yea u need some time for HTML if u wanna learn it u need to watch long vids like that xP!
rosevilleboy: I watched the video in its entirety once. Now I am watching in segments while practicing. On, off. On, off. It works for me. Well done! No complaints here, that's for sure!
weedfacebg15: ive been practicing but i cant get the green line or make the line 30 pixels long
weedfacebg15: never mind i spelled width wrong that was all
Dishihai: A highly effective tutorial in html. Great.
kornTwistVideo: no one posts what i really want to know, i wanna know to change a website template. template is not backround, is the image on the menu at the top. not backround.
jimmyrcom: a template is a page that doesn't have content, only the structure. learn html and you can make and change templates as well as what html codes effect what part of the page.
sunnyahsan: hey when i write html and head body etc. it still shows it on my internet explorer. why.i tped it exactly like yours.
jimmyrcom: make sure it looks like an html file, if not you just named it foo.html.txt
turxxx: That was an excellent and very informative video, masterfully presented. Well done!
FightNightLegend: Ok, Jimmy if you can plz inform me. I purchased a domain name 2nite, just to practice & build my html skills with. I parked it free. Not sure how to open it up to structure a site. Should i now buy the hosting the page feature thing?Thanx
Utonic5parx: Hey there Jimmy, I Am EXTREMLY glad you made this video, I have now mastered batch files, and am already on a fast track to HTML within a single day!!!! I am very impressed and glad your here bud. PS: I love the way you highlight things and come up with these examples, there funny so I remember them, i guess because its random, like "foo" good work on the vids man!!!! -Utonic
bizzar25: hey jimmy im just wondering if theres any way to host our own site?
leodime: yeah. Type "How to make a webserver" into the YouTube search bar.
snapdantv: Great tutorial Jimmy! I have to beg your pardon. I was trying to push my favorite button and gave you a bad rating. Many sorrys.... I'm going to check out your channel. Thanks!
marco3993: I think this tutorial is the nicest i've ever seen for beginners ... Great!
Chessboy: How to add a hyperlink to my page ? Is that on the video?
Chessboy: ok will watch it again i missed that section
doc800: what size do you record your videos at? so that they take up the whole screen of the youtube player. thanks
Raza22315: how to you get to that page in firefox?
BunnyTheBurninator: Hey, I knew a lot about HMTL already and the old horrible tags you talked about, but I knew nothing of CSS. I like the way you put the two together in this video. No sites I've seen do it as well as this and since it's a video it takes out the boring reading part of learning. =D Thanks a bunch!
leodime: Jimmy you should have a PayPal that people can donate to. I imagine you'd make alot of money. And you sound alot like the guy who says the announcements at my high school over the intercom.
jimmyrcom: I do on my site. The bottom part of the vid that says "more tutorials at ..." =P no one donates though
leodime: Aw. That sucks. I wish I had a few bucks to throw in. Hopefully one day... *daydreams about having large sums of money*
SROMrPink: thanks a lot jimmy r !
now Im gonna check the web for a wysiwyg editor xD
rosevilleboy: Practice, practice, and more practice. That's the key. It's repetitive, but I'm really getting this down. Thank you, Jimmy. I would compare you to George Bailey of Bedford Falls. Eventually you will be the richest guy in town. "One man touches the lives of many others..."
sk8jak: srsly thanks a LOT!.. im starting this thing,, and, thats what i needed... someone teaching in a video.., thanX :)
T2Darlantan: Request: Could use an advanced Photoshop tutorial about making Slices and using Paths, etc. using the Windows version, most of them I see are on a Mac. Also animated gif creation with ImageReady.
Kinghenrythe9th: Jimmy - 2 things - 1, how do you get your featured video to auto play on your channel?, 2, please make server tutorials. Many thanks Lee.
MyGamecubeRoks: whats the image you use at the bottom of the screen? and the one thats on your desktop?
ByOnu: please, tell me how to mAKE A MOVIE with what i do on my compute?!? please... it is a program?
MrQazster: Nice long video, lots of good stuff
akatsukileader91: does it work with internet explorer also
mcpo117: 1970's internet in half in hour
jimmyrcom: Nope, this is current HTML. If stuff you make looks like crap, blame yourself and practice more.
akatsukileader91: how do you submit it and go to that page
nimble042: Thanks Jimmy
Reading this stuff in books is so dry (rosettastone).
Watching you write code is like understanding the spoken language.
BzzFly: One important thing to keep in mind when developing a website is to get it to look and function the same way regardless of what browser is used. You have to be cautious on how you use CSS. Older browsers may not support CSS or interpret CSS the same way. New browsers still support old HTML tags/code. I minimally use CSS because I want everyone to have the same experience when viewing the websites I create.
Examples of how browsers can interpret pages differently:
acid2.wikispaces. com
jimmyrcom: 99.infinity-9% of browsers have css support. Unless they they downloaded a browser in 1996, and are still using it, chances are they have CSS. There are minor differences in the way stuff is displayed but it's not a big deal. Minimally using css is a bad idea, but it IS good to test cross compatibility with different browsers.
thismyaddress: Hey Jimmy, Question.
How do you put a Picture above about the video and at the top of my channel.
Thnks in advance!

jimmyrcom: no. download it from my site and watch it 3 times.
jesshamm20: what do you mean start run @ the beginning
jimmyrcom: click the start button on windows then go to run. If not just open any text editor.
pimpinallmyhoes: can you use this to edit a virus
DrQuillo: CSS isn't a programming language, which you would need to edit a virus.
But why would you want to "edit" a virus anyway?
helpme1: are you getting paid to do this. Keep up the good work

uktraceur: this is a very good tutorial which i will make a web template from tomorow. i usually code in flash, though you need basic hypertext knowlage to put it online. 5*

luis95rox: my image is a red X in a square whats wrong?
goldenlollypop: your image is probably in a different location than your .html document
cheeseperson999: sweet! ive been wondering how the heck to do this and this is so simple. you rock!
BellybuttonCAA: This video, for some odd reason, reminds me of the time my grandfather stuck his dong in my hairy anus. I was scared, but for some odd reason, a green liquid leaked out off my ass.
skater96782: ok the reason your pics dont get on the html page is ether
1 you dont have it in the same folder as your html
2 wrong file name you can change it with ms paint
3 the pic is still on the web and you dont have it on your comp; all u have to do is drag the full sized image on to your folder with the html
tip:you should save 2 one html file and 1 txt file for you wont need to start again
VBthe3rd: My camstudio doesn't record my sound, I'm using speakers and yet it says WaveoutGetSelectControl()failed when trying to detect my speakers. whats going on? how can i fix this. Oh ya, my speakers work perfectly so it not the fault of my speakers.
jimmyrcom: that button has never worked. google "record stereomix"
123456iambelial: Fix your volume control. If you fix your vol. control, your speaker may work properly.
Firebolt765: Man this is awesome!

rickhunter17: man thanks u made my HW much easier
I really thank u
U Rock
123456iambelial: How did you upload this video(40mins)?

akatsukileader91: how do you get your website address
jimmyrcom: I answered that question 4 comments ago....gad;f;ljgsdffgsdbhg;slfjg;bad
pktrickz: you need to register a url (web adress) to let the world view your page. Most likely you will need to pay money for a web page.
