Forgot to edit out the part at the end where I screwed up. Oh well

Comments:

blackheart32006: STOP DISTRACTING ME!!! (looking for something specific, but whenever I come on you have a new video and I am watching it instead...) Keep it up man, your videos are awesome! ^^ (probably use keyboard for 90% or more tasks... would say 100% but since I use mouse keys that's cheating... :P)

opticon12000: if you type 'define: hello' with a : after define you get a separate page full of definitions

Ace753: I think you've mentioned most of these things in your other tweak Firefox video, but thats alot of good material :) Keep up the good job

jimmyrcom: I tried to group all my firefox tricks into one video, but it was 17minutes long.

acfrazier: Since you have the Director thingy, you can upload any length video unless it's over 100MB. :D

jimmyrcom: no that's only for corporate sponsored fakes like ananova and lonelygirl. They also get a little banned and the ability to autoplay videos.

ZeGameFan: How do you know these things?!

rockhills: I'd like to know how to highlight a word, right click and have more than one search option appear. Maybe you want the option to search ebay, wiki, or google.

76ers: Here ya go:
(replace the "[dot]" with . )

research[dot]yale[dot]edu/swahili/serve_pages/swah ili_dictionary_firefox_extension[dot]php

rockhills: Hmm, I never thought about "hacking" that extension. Thanks for the tip.

mikemessedup: Tons of useful tips. Thx for these videos Jimmy. I loved the end credits. Can you make a video on how you made them? If not, could you give me some links so I can find out myself.

stupidvidiot: Nice vid. My Palm Treo has Pocket IE, but I got an add-on called PIE Plus that allows abbrevated addressing. Believe me, this is handy when faced with typing on a cell phone. Hey, what is the best app for converting .flv files to .avi? Everyone I have used will NOT open in Adobe Premiere.

hnSforthewin: Nice vid!
Really cleaned it up

gamedude507: you'll be glad you did!! If you use the tweaks that jimmyr explains it is a ton way better than IE7. I suggest sing Faster fox instead of Googe accelerator though. But if you do decide to get Firefox please be aware that it does take some getting used to, if you've been using IE for a while.

creativekilla: damn jimmy your 1 smart motha fu**a.

mitdylan: Hey jimmy.
how come you don't use All-in-one-sidebar?
It's very helpful you know.

jimmyrcom: I have the quick keys memorized for most the toolbars. There's a lot of good extensions but in this video I wanted to list only the ones firefox that would make firefox not feel like firefox if they were missing. Most people will still go to the most popular extensions and and download everything awesome, but firefox is notoriously known for its memory leaks.

mitdylan: You just typed firefox 4 time.
5 STARS!!!

ltsAboutJesus: Quick keys is a useful tool... 5 stars for information.

flyboy333: Way cool, one of your best videos yet (though they are all good). My suggestion for a minimalist theme is ifox smooth. You have helped me reduce this already minimalist theme to a mere sliver. Sweet.

DJMalino: Great video again and again! =)

Ramza686: Terrific video! A thousand thank-yous!

jussumone: More great tips - you must spend a lot of time on the computer ! But it shows how much you get done cause you move fast. I will have to watch this a couple times to get it all done !

jimmyrcom: thanks. just click pause after every step.

rainbowbowserpow9999: eh cool but i never even used that remember password thing my firefox started that automaticly

jimmyrcom: not for sites that have autocomplete turned off.

lalomania1: Thanks a lot, very useful vid. One question, i tried to save youtube videos following your instructions and i just couldn't. I could download images and other things, but not videos. When i press Save, the "where to save" window closes and nothing is stored, any help?

ToshX: addons.mozilla. org/en-US/firefox/addon/2390

Remove the space before 'org'.

It'll have instructions when you use it. It shows up as an icon in the bottom right hand corner of the browser.

lalomania1: i tried doing what you did with google's "define:" feature but with google's "site:" feature, but i couldnt becouse it uses two parameters, is there a way to use two parameters instead of one? say %s and %t for example?

jimmyrcom: just set it to the sites you use most often. As far as I know it only accepts one parameter but good question.

lalomania1: Ok thanks. Sill cant save youtube videos, i could with the newgrounds thingy, but not youtube, any ideas?

ToshX: Ack, that was a reply to one of the previous comment, but I don't think it went through that way.

Anwyay, it was pretty helpful, however half the stuff was already mentioned in the first video. I mean, it's fine for the sake of people who only want to watch this one part, but when I see "part 2", I automatically look for part 1 of a video and watch it.

lightbulb9585: Here is a simple tip I didn't see mentioned, click a link with your scroll wheel on the mouse to open it in a new tab.

jimmyrcom: I use ctrl+click. That's part of the quick key list though

robbieman775: I luv ur vids!!! (very useful)

medeste: very useful tutorial thanks.
let me add that i really hate the close button on every tab: i usually close them by mistake. so i removed it and just close the tabs with the middle button of the mouse... firefox rocks

A7XChaos: Your guides are amazing, man... the tips and tools you've given are truly amazing for making firefox faster... keep up the great work, I'll keep watching

gamedude507: JimmyR for President!!!! Who's with me!!!

tysonxguitar: On one of your older videos when you talked about changing the pipelining value you said to set it to 30 and in this video you say to set it to 16. My question is, Is there a big difference in the values that you set?

funmap: Good ideo, but let me add a couple of Firefox addons you guys could also check out:
- adblock plus (blocks all ads)
- gTranslate (translate words via context menu)
- ImageZoom (easy image zoom function)
- Greasemonkey (changes websites with javascipts)
-Forecastfox Enhanced (whether forecast in the bottom bar)

crillep66: Gmail Manager
Foxytunes

These are musthaves! I also like:
IE Tab (uses IE as renderer for difficult pages)
and CustimizeGoogle (gives google a sea of new options)

SushiSyogun: Ctrl+t = new tab
Ctrl+n = new window
Ctrl+w = kill tab
Ctrl+PageUp = Go to next tab
Ctrl+PageDown = '' previous tab

C0pers: go newgrounds newgrounds rocks and this is very helpful

iamsoownage: Opera is faster/better security/more features/light/smaller size. :/

I use Firefox every once in awhile though, when a site requires JavaScript or something.

jimmyrcom: firefox has way more features and is way more customizable than opera.

devandev: omg thanks you know i can watch your videos withought waitin like 15min for ur videos to load know since that pipelining i can watch videos ten times faster!!!!

devandev: what would u recommend to put the pipeling on or what would be a limit

felix290492: there's also a great web developer addon if u like html, php, css etc....
addons.mozilla. org/en-US/firefox/addon/60

wow4now: thanks Jimmy, my internet browsing is way better now that you've shown me the ways of firefox.

HyperNathan: This video(+part 1) was 15/10. Very cool stuff.

dxalfredo: hey jimmy how do you record your screen like that???(i already subcribed...) that is so cool that the recorder follows the curser...i already watched the camstudio video but you don't say anything like that...please help me!!! i want to do some tutorials from my computer....but i need to know how to do that i would really abriciated....thank you in advanced...

W33dH4ck3r: My default max-connections-per-server is 24, yours is 8, why?

deadnox2: dxalfredo (4 days ago) Marked as spam

You have to enable auyopan or something like that

andwerver: You don't need to create a quicksearch for definitions, if you type "define cheese" in the firefox address bar it wil automatically do a google search for that. No need to do all that other crap you suggested

redrum671: Thanks for the tip with Firefox, but what would happen if I set my pipelining to 1000?

W33dH4ck3r: I haven't got a Page Info button =/

W33dH4ck3r: If you search "firefox always remember password" your Site is the first result.

stewartysunn: thankyou so much now i have the perfect browser

samphilomath: And I thought I was the only one who do those stuff. Well you show me. Don't stop making your tutorials.

Andey17: you are a god...nice tutorials....thanks

zakpak6: Hey Man!, trust me! i thought i try that site, to see if i can really get some action and it works! its free join today > FLING-CHAT dot COM
X71518237

davronru: Thanks for remember password - that's great

gurusam666: wow you are amazing, as soon as i watched this i made a keyword for youtube searches

GradeFPoultry: Jimmy, you're simply amazing. I can't tell you how much you're videos have helped me!

Thanks.

jigglestumps: That's really great, thanks for the info. *****

MessiahOfTheDDT: Wow, I'm really impressed. I've been wanting to take advantage of some of Firefox's cooler little customization options for a while now, but I honestly don't have the time or patience to sift through message boards and huge text documents when I might not even find something I'd use on a regular basis. This tutorial is like 90% stuff I'd use everyday, and a lot of stuff that makes Firefox even more efficient than it already is, and all explained in under 20 minutes. Great work.

MessiahOfTheDDT: Furthermore, it wouldn't be a bad idea to show this to Mozilla. Who knows, they might actually end up officially sponsoring it once they realize how much more helpful it is than the official Firefox help site. And it's not as if they would have a legitimate reason to stop you from doing this; you're just pointing out little-known features that either already exist in Firefox, or features that are made possible through add-ons available through the official Firefox add-on download site.

lamkafeira: how did you know all this?? I'm not complaining, coz your vids are awesome!! you go, neutron!!

enqrypzion: thanx alot man i really digg 'em videos. found alot of 'em really helpful.thanx again bro.

FeedMEBabies: In regards to the Newgrounds thing:

Animators, use import Protect.

lbrtdy: it starts to get animated and onces you click on it, it prompts u to download to where as a .flv file. so its just like keepvid and whatever u keeep usuing but this one is a plugin for firefox. just thought u could add that to tutorial thx

lbrtdy: hey dude you know how you keep explaining where to download vids to edit in virtual dub or something liek that? well i foudn this awesome firefox plugin that allows you to download really fast and directly on page. its called downloadhelper, u can check it out, but when ever it detects a vid

fred4582: Hey jimmy thank alot your advice helped me.
Keep up the good work

ambucias: wow man this guy is the most intelligent ever !!

11hani11: 5 stars!!! . Fantastic job, made it much easier and faster to find definitions. Highly recommended !

ensekofti: the thing with "view page info" in newgrouds doesn't work.
it downloads a file "aq_jan728x90a.swf" which is about 23KB and ofcource doesnt work . . . .
btw when i do this trick in youtube there are 2 "Embed" files

any suggestions?? i love this trick! and i need it for a silly page....!! please!!

calrogman: Use Pop-Up option instead of Watch.

beliefmail: hi jimmyrcom,

do you by chance know how to fit firefox browsing page to width for small resolutionn screen like 800 x 400 or such? similiar to what opera can do. hope to get useful respond, googled but cant find any viable solution! :(

evilgnius: look at his other video..... it should have information

ensekofti: also... i have a dsl connection only 512kbits. would you recommend fasterfox for me too?

AdrenalSurge: Good job jimmy, keep up the good work, useful information!
